About this listen

Hailey's all about things being perfect and believes she's found it with Logan Baxter III. While failing to gain Logan's attention, she can't seem to get rid of the less-than-perfect Jackson Carr. And yet there's something about Jackson that has Hailey questioning her definition of perfect.

Becca's got a knack for dating the wrong kind of guys. When her current boyfriend publicly dumps and humiliates her, she's devastated. Max Abrams - the new photographer on the scene - is right there offering encouragement. She has to wonder if maybe getting dumped by Mr. Wrong has finally led her to Mr. Right.

Angie's loud, feisty, and completely fearless - until she gets dumped by the one guy she really had feelings for. But when Sean Peterson comes back into her life in a big way, she's not sure she's ready to forgive and forget quite so easily.

Ella's been planning her perfect wedding to Dylan Graham since she was 12. She can't focus on all that's right in her life, because all she can think about is what she may be missing. Not one to ever make waves, she suddenly sees that's exactly what she's doing. The life that she once considered boring is now the one she longs for, but is it too late?

Awesome story about friendship and love!!!

I just love Samantha Chase books! I had never read this one so gave it a listen! For all you flirty, sweet and fun romance lovers out there this is the book for you! And bonus, it is the beginning of a new SC series!! Yay!
The narrator was awesome in this! She has great variation to her character voices so you got to know which heroine was talking just by that!
For a 5 star sweet romance with some great storylines, give this book a listen! I'm so happy I did!!

Cute Young Adult Fiction (No Sexual Violence)

I would have enjoyed this cute romantic story about 4 twenty-something friends more when I was younger yet still found it entertaining. Unfortunately, I thought the main characters would be older - Audible really need to do a better job with their descriptions.

However I totally appreciated how the author was able to create romantic scenes with NO sexual violence, domination or other degrading behavior. The hunky heroes in Friday Night Brides actually liked and respected women; most sane women don't want an alpha jerk!

Great storyl!

Humor, pathos, and wit makes this contemporary romance writer distinctively different from the herd. 4 best friends since 1st grade, are now young women, struggling with relationships, career missteps, and self esteem issues. Through it all, the constant in their lives is the Wedding Shop and the Fashion Shows that they have modeled in weekly since early childhood. These women , and their men, seem real, and by the end of the book, I want to have Saturday breakfast with them too! Ms Chase’s writing style, coupled with the great narration of Carly Robins makes Friday Night Brides an audiobook not to be missed.

Can you spell silly?

I thought, ok, this is brain candy and it's billed as romantic comedy. So how bad can it be?

Bad bad bad. Silly. The narrator has a little girl's voice, complete with a lisp. Arghhhh.
