Publisher's summary

When a strange wolf's teeth slash Cheyenne's ankle to the bone, her old life ends, and she becomes the very monster that has haunted her nightmares for years. Worse, the only one who can understand what Chey has become is the man - or wolf - who's doomed her to this fate. He also wants to chop her head off with an axe.

Yet as the line between human and beast blurs, so too does the distinction between hunter and hunted...for Chey is more than just the victim she appears to be. But once she's within killing range, she may find that - even for a werewolf - it's not always easy to go for the jugular.

Interesting

Set in Canada, the book tells the story of a woman who got lost in the woods and was stalked by a pack of wolves. But there is one wolf that looks different, she can see in his eyes…

A big part of this story is told in flashbacks to give the protagonist’s background. It has an interesting take on the werewolf lore. It is a fast read and the only negative thing I have to say about this book is that it’s a little bit repetitive.

Great Werewolf Book. I Love Werewolves!!!!!

I loved this book. I was a blast to listen to. I like this book more than overwinter, even though overwinter has more of Shey fighting her wond (internal conflict) Frostbite has more external conflict though it does have some internal conflict as well. I felt the narrator did a superb job at tackling the character, made me care about them. I love the parts when Shey was a wolf. How the narrator explained those parts were amazing. Overalll this is a fun read if any reader, like me, is an avid werewolf fan. This series puts its own unique spin on lycanthrope that differs greatly from the man-beast versions that have been overdone in video games and movies.

Very Unusual

I totally enjoyed this book, it's a very unusual take on werewolves. You usually read about the packs in the cities and werewolf politics and fighting with vampires, etc. This is a totally different side on the tale and makes you feel for the wolf. Excellent writing and the author was very good also.

Great storyline awful narrator

That's all I have to say, freaking awful narrator. But I like the story. I believe the replaced the narrator in the next book.

BORING

The worst book I've ever listened to. I kept hoping it would get better but it never did. At times I almost wanted to scream it was so annoying.

Boring and annoying. I wanted to rate it a zero but it wouldn't let me.

Not much point in going into much detail, as there really isn't much to tell you about the book. Long and drawn out with no point. All the characters are either boring or annoying, I totally hated the wimpy, whiny female character.

Just don't do it.

Not worth getting

I felt like I was watching paint dry, so bad.
They could have taken out half of the book and it would have been better. I felt like I was blind and in a art gallery with some one describing a painting, which is bad for a book, then there is the doulble triple words such as blood, blood, blood, or Silver, silver, silver.

Don't waste your money.

Someone who likes seeing women get smacked around

Unlike a few others, I liked the writing, and the narrator. What I did not like was the weak, whiny female main character who was supposedly strong enough to train as a werewolf hunter with the military but was so spineless she was on the verge of suicide out of "loneliness" after she had been left alone for just a few days. I mean, really?

What I disliked even more was the fact that this character was repeatedly beaten to a pulp by a strong male character whom the author painted as the righteous one, even though he tried to kill her multiple times for really stupid reasons. The things the main male character did to this weak female are incredibly bad (no spoilers), yet he smacks her around almost unto death and she keeps crawling back for more.

It just didn't sit well with me.

Not My Cup Of Tea

Sorry this book just didn't do anything for me. I didn't feel I got to know the charaters and the motive behind the story, well lets just say I felt it was quite drawn out.
