About this listen

Branded criminals and on the run from the most powerful corporation in the known universe, Liam Hoffen and the crew of Hotspur have a simple choice to make. They can either cower and hide on the long since abandoned planet Ophir, or continue their mission to set right the wrongs perpetrated by a company willing to trade human suffering and lives for their bottom line. If you've followed their story, you know which choice they'll make.

Our crew will discover new planets and alien species. They'll fight pitched fleet battles and struggle against a deadly new alien foe, which is as cunning as it is ruthless. While fighting a war on two fronts, Hoffen is ambushed by his father's murders. This showdown comes at the worst possible time and forces him to fight for everyone he loves. In the end, only he or the enemy will exit the field of battle and no quarter will be given.

Give No Quarter is the 10th book in the Privateer Tales universe and is the third in the Belirand Menace story arc, which started with Buccaneers and is followed by A Matter of Honor.

Another great Privateer Tales Story

Give No Quarter is a great new installment in Jamie McFarlane Privateer Tales and continues the story of Jamie and Crew vs the Belirand Corporation. The crew have to make some tough decisions and always choose the honorable option but there are heartbreaking consequences. Narrator Mikhail Naramore is excellent.

Main characters sexual antics add nothing to the story

I liked the story overall, but the really we know Liam & Tabby are engaged and sleeping together so the constant descriptions of their sexual antic for me didn’t add anything to the overall story. It has become repetitive fluff filler with each book that has me rolling my eyes. But I just skip over those sections.

Fun Story

A fun rollercoaster adventure story where the good guys win. Odd terminology from time to time, starships, sailing, damage on the waterline.
still fun listen

A fun series...

Good story, enjoyable characters, excellent narration. Each "tale" in the seies just gets better. Fun watching these guys from rags to riches, spacer style...

From Righteous to Pirate

So much for the main characters being justified in their actions, now they've suddenly become the thing they hated most.

Mikael Naramore still does an excellent job narrating this stark departure from previous books in the series. Why Jamie--why? The crew could have just gotten supplies and stuff from the plethora of replicators they had access to. Attacking "supply caches"? Should've just called them what they really are, "plot devices."
