Love it

This is the fourth book in the series and I loved it. Each book just seems to be better than the last. It has a lot of action, mystery, suspense and drama. The narrator has gotten each character nailed down.

Murder, fraud, and more!

thriller, murder, suspense

Never trust a former green activist who did more than just make a profit. Self absorbed boyfriend contracts with said billionaire allegedly to write a book about him under the career journalist's name but finds out otherwise. Kat supposedly goes along for a vacation, but it turns deadly when a couple who are protesting shady business practices are killed in a supposedly spontaneous avalanche. And then things really get messy! Aside from wanting to toss the boyfriend under the bus, I was riveted by the story and the characters.
Petrea Burchard is the perfect voice actor for this book.

The Name is So Suiting

Greenwash-"is a form of marketing spin, in which green PR and green marketing are deceptively used to persuade the public that an organization's products, aims and policies are environmentally friendly and therefore "better", appeal to nature"

This is another fantastic book written by Colleen Cross! I think each book in this series only gets better and it is great to see that she has used the same narrator for this series, as it makes it much more enjoyable for the listener.

Kat (Katerina Carter) and her boyfriend, Jace are invited to spend a few days in the mountains up in Northern Canada, where Jace has been asked to do write a biography for a wold famous environmentalist and billionaire. While Jace is interviewing the environmentalist, Kat decides she wants to explore her surroundings and enjoy the mountain fresh air. Little did she know that she would encounter avalanches, local protesters, dynamite, water pollution and murder. This book did not disappoint and as all of Cross's books do, kept me on my toes.

Green Wash

I love that Kat is supposed to be on a mini vacation in this book. Her job is to support Jace this time. But if you are a fan of this series like me, you know she looks for things to keep her busy and can get herself in to quite a bit of trouble. Kat is immediately suspicious of the man Jace is working for after he has some things added in to Jace's contract. Then Kat is almost killed on a morning hike and everyone is playing it down about the couple that did get killed in the same accident. Their is no way she's letting it go now. Another great story! And Petrea Burchard does a fantastic job bringing this book to life.

Great as a stand alone and series

Katerina and Jace are off of a well deserved (working) vacation. Of course fans of the series know there is no such thing when Katerina is around. She has a nose for trouble. This well written adventure has enough twists and turns to keep you glued to the story and the series. This is one couple you will look forward to again and again. The narrator is easy to follow and lends a sense of familiarity to each character in the book. Over all the series is quite entertaining.

murder, greed, & corruption

This is the fourth book in the Katerina Carter Fraud Thriller series and i must say that i enjoyed this one as much as i did the first three. The story is exciting, moves at a good and enjoyable pace, and keeps the listener intrigued throughout. The narrator does an excellent job.

fantastic book

Another great adventure with Kat and Jace. This book kept me on edge of my seat. It seems Kat finds a mystery even when she is not looking. This time she and Jace go to the mountains for a weekend getaway for Jace to do a biography on a Billionaire. Only he finds out that he wants it to be an autobiography and Jace would be a ghost writer. First he wants to leave but Kat talks him in to staying While he is busy with the writing Kat wants to explore the area. First while on there way there they run into some local protesters. There is also supposed to be some out of town protesters. They are protesting because a mine, which is closed down, had a breach and caused the local drinking water to be contaminated. All they want is for it to be cleaned up. Of course some how Kat seems to get involved with is issue. First she explores in area she was told to avoid and runs in to two local protesters. one pointing a gun at her. She finally gets them to lower their gun and she ask them questions about the protesting and they tell her some things that she begins to question such as why does not the billionaire try to get the water cleaned up. Just minutes after the couple leaves Kat, there is an avalanche that kills the couple and almost gets Kat. So Kat being Kat begins to investigate because she thinks the avalanche was man made and not an accident. and uncovers a great big scam. This story was even better than the last. Each book gets better and better. The author has created fantastic characters and story lines with this series. The narrator does a great job with bringing the characters to life. I love forward to the next adventure. I was gifted this book at my request in exchange for an honest review.

You will not see this twist coming

What a great thriller.
Some of the best thrillers have only a couple of days of time frame, and this is one of them. Even with not so much of a fast pace, but with a lot of danger. The thing that make this a great story is the unexpected twist in the end. And no, I won't say more.
This is the second book I've read for the serie and they were all great so far.
They can be read as standalone and out of order with not many problems.
The narrator does a truly fantastic work too.
