Publisher's summary

The riveting first novel in a brand-new paranormal romance series by debut author Brian Feehan, son of legendary number one New York Times best-selling author Christine Feehan.

The We—beings who existed long before humans ever did, filled with powerful magic—walk among us. Owen and Alice are both etherealists - rare humans born with magic who are targets for those We that wish to take it from them. At nine years old and against her will, Alice’s soul was tied to one such powerful and evil We. She escaped and was trained to be a weapon so she might one day break the bond and safely return home. Everything is going to plan…until she meets Owen.

Owen is a musician who is trying to outrun his past while keeping those around him safe in an increasingly dangerous world. Owen keeps them on the move until a band of hunters crosses their path. Owen must go home—a place he swore he’d never return to—and seek protection from the We who could destroy them. And then he meets Alice. Only through finding each other do either Alice or Owen have a chance of survival.

Great start to the series!

I really enjoyed this book! Harmony of Fire had a little bit of everything, paranormal, romance, lots of action and humor. It was very descriptive and I was easily able to picture the world Brian Feehan created. I fell in love with Alice and Owen, along with the other characters. I'll be starting Harmony of Lies next and can't wait to see what happens next with A&O

Well done

This story was spun really well like the author had been writing for a long time even though the description says this is his first book. The narration was spot on too making it a good listen. So I gave it full stars. For me the title was a bit confusing saying it was about Alice and Owen. The author wrote some from Alice’s point of view but to me Owen clearly was the main character from beginning to end giving us much more insight on his feelings and thoughts about the world, other characters and things happening throughout the entire novel. Overall I think people looking for something new in this genre may like to give this one a try.

Excellent!

I enjoyed this book very much and hope the story of Alice and Owen will continue. Great character development and flow that bared some similarity to Christine Feehan. any relation?

Good story

A little slow at the beginning but very worth the wait. Really hope to see these characters again. I really appreciated the fact it wasn’t full of swear words. Seems to be rarer and rarer in stories today.

Legacy of Feehan

Hook, line and sinker!! Not surprisingly enthralled by Brian's capture of a world and it's characters. I love to see the legacy of Christine's storytelling live on with her son. Well done by both Mother and Son.

An amazing debut

This book was unique and unlike anything I have read before. The beginning world building was rough to get through because there was so much detail. Stick with it I guarantee it was worth it. The personality of the characters definitely shine through. Even the secondary characters keep the story moving. I look forward to the next installment.
