Publisher's summary

She always had a crush me, but I was never right for her.

Now one wedding could change everything—if I can get sh*t together before it's too late....

Ryan O’Rourke here, pro hockey star for the Boston Brawlers and playboy extraordinaire.

That’s right, I admit it.

Hell, I own it, score with it, and take it to the bank every day.

MVP of the league, rich as sh*t, and sought after—no, plagued by women constantly—I’m on top of the world. Right?

Not so much. Problem is, when you’re at the top, there’s nowhere to go.

And after a very short stint, it gets f**king lonely because all your friends think you’re an a**hole.

The other problem is, when you fall for someone real, someone who knows who you were before you got to the top, you have a hell of a time convincing her you’re still the same person you used to be.

I swear I still am—somewhere underneath the cocky b*****d.

And then there's that damn promise I made....

Chelsea Wilde here, gossip queen for BeanTown Sports Broadcasting. Boston can be a tough town for professional athletes, filled with gossip and whispers. I hear it all, and more importantly, tell it all.

About Ryan O'Rourke, the favorite son of BC hockey gone pro, we hear he has all those women, he has all that money. And our favorite is, he has that gigantic…well, there's some gossip we just can't repeat.

I really need to find a new job. Being a sleazy gossip is crushing my soul after only one month. It’s not what I envisioned for myself when I went into broadcasting.

I swear, I’m not that nosey big mouth girl.

Especially not when the gossip is all about my best friend's big brother. The one I had a massive crush on all my life. The one I spent that night with four years ago…sort of.

A lot of things happened four years ago that I'd prefer not to remember. Ryan's the least awful of them.

But that was then. And this is now….

And I'm about to walk down the aisle with my old crush, the home town sports hero I've been gossiping about professionally for the past month. Awkward.

Because I'm maid of honor at my best friend's wedding and he's the best man.

Everything is fine. The past is past, a job’s a job. I have everything under control...not.

He Has It All is a sister's best friend friends-to-lovers second chance hockey romance. This full-length novel can be listened to as a stand-alone. If you love sizzling sports romance, hot hockey players, and those stories about finally winning over that long-time crush, then you'll enjoy this one!

(Contains sex and language for mature audiences.)

Warning: There is a scene about violence against women, which may be a trigger for some.

friends to lovers

Enjoyable, low angst, sports (hockey) romance. Good chemistry between Chelsea and Ryan. I liked the story.

Tropes: friends to lovers, best friends sister

Narration - Jay Alder was okay. I liked his reading voice and he has a good Boston accent, but his female voice was awful, and hard to listen to those sentences. I liked Emery Erickson and had no complaints with her.

sports.romance

Chelsea Always had a crush on Ryan ever since she was 12. They were next door neighbors and she was best friends with his sister. Later he became a professional hockey player on and off the field.
She was an Olympic volleyball player. Their paths crossed many times .
She didn't want to be one of his one night stands. He was getting tired of having that playboy image. He wanted more out of life.
I love how the story developed their romance, through their fears, self doubts, fun and laughter.

Jay Alder and Emery Erickson narration was very good. I enjoyed lIstening to this audio

Love a hockey romance!

He Has It All
Boston Brawlers Hockey 1
By: Stephanie Queen
Narrated by: Jay Alder, Emery Erickson

When you are attracted to your sister's best friend,Chelsea, you know things are going to get complicated. Keep you hands off is what Ryan has done for years. Now a professional hockey player, and Chelsea a gossip monger for a paper, you know your paths are going cross, but who thought it would be at her best friend's wedding? Now with conflicting feelings from a past encounter, her childhood crush and need a story for her job, Chelsea is put right into the fire. Will these two find their way to each other? I love second chance romances and add in best friend's sister and I am sold. Ryan is a great character, his feelings evident and we can feel how hard he fights them. Chelsea is a strong woman, loving and loyal. Plus we get Allie and Aidan popping in makes it all the better. Great story and fun romance.

Jay Alder and Emery Erickson voice this story and pulled us in from the start. Alder becomes Ryan, feeling his conflict, wanting and not being able to have, but still having the compassion. Chelsea is full of layers and Erickson peels each one, from the hurt and uneasiness to the love. This is a good pairing and wonderful listen.

Wonderful story line with strong female lead

I loved the storyline with the push and pull that relationships have.

I gave the story a 4 because of strong sexual language. If that’s your thing, then it would be a 5.

Liked the story, not the narration

I had a really hard time with both of the narrators, but made it through the book. The ending felt rushed or incomplete. I think with different narrators I would have enjoyed this more. If the other books in the series have different narrators I would listen to more.

Good

A womanizer turns into mister right. I enjoyed seeing Ryan's growth and Chelsea's also. Misunderstandings and miscommunication add to the fun scenarios. Entertaining and enjoyable. I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this and am giving an honest review. The narrators did a good job.

Where is the hockey?

This is a hockey romance but there only maybe 10 minutes of hockey related content in the whole book. There is a lot of drama. The main character Ryan is a hockey player who has a bad boy reputation. Chelsea is the girl next door.
