Publisher's summary

Though fashions may change, certain things never go out of style - like your favorite little black dress that can take you from a business meeting to a dinner party to a night on the town. But what makes it work is not the dress; it's how you present yourself while wearing it. A woman who is polite, well spoken, gracious, charming, and thoughtful is always welcome - though such women appear to be in short supply these days!

Despite the headline-grabbing antics of certain flashy celebutantes, most of us would rather have respect - for ourselves and from our families, friends, and colleagues. In this fully revised and updated edition, you will learn how to:

  • Appear polished without sacrificing your personal style
  • Develop skills and discover interests to boost your self-confidence
  • Find your true friendships and make them stronger
  • Date Mr. Right instead of hooking up with Mr. Right Now
  • Land the perfect internship and your first job
  • Have a fun night without the risk of a social media faux pas

With this insightful guide, you'll be loving life with style, class, and grace in no time!

The Original Was Better...

I feel like the original book "How to Be a Hepburn in a Hilton World" was a much better read than this one. It was honest, truthful and inspiring. This book sounds like the "popular" girls bullied the author until she made a revised version, lacking the honesty and empowering words that her original book had.

Insightful to Girls in need of some advice

I had not read the first one before this as I was recommended it. I enjoyed it as a self-help book but found it didn't have much to do with Audrey Hepburn vs. the Kardashians. I was not looking (to be clear) for a book with a comparison as much as some information about Audrey Hepburn and how to put her practices for poise and style into a modern world.

I think a title change would help this book because I enjoyed the authors personal story and choices she made and still makes to have a successful life. Very insightful and a great read for any young adult graduating from college and going to their first job.

A good read for girls in their early twenties

Even though I am older I found some really neat and interesting ideas and perspectives. I am definitely glad I picked this one. Other things I knew, but may have had to found out the hard way. I would have loved to ready this I’m my early twenties.

Not what I expected - not in a good way

Narration by Caitlin was great! However, the book itself was a miss for me. I was expecting something more profound and this book was more or less just stating things that should be common sense. It seemed almost sugar coated and old worldly because the author was very much concerned about what other people thought instead of making oneself well strong, well mannered whilst being authentic. For example, I expected the book to tell me how to dress more refined and when the decent time was to have my shoulders out but instead, it told me to not show my shoulders so that I avoid distracting a male coworker.
