Story
We each inhabit many worlds, often at the same time. From worlds on the inside to the world on a cosmic scale. Worlds imposed on us, and worlds of our own making. In time, though, all worlds will end. With Skidding Into Oblivion, his fifth collection, award-winning author Brian Hodge brings together his most concentrated assortment yet. It includes all of the best picks and awards finalists. All stories have one thing in common: It’s the end of the world as we know it, and we don’t feel fine at all.

MORE BIZAAR TALES!
I IS FOR INTERNET BY VARIOUS AUTHORS AND NARRATED BY SHANNON WHITE AND D.C. HILL LAWRENCE is book 9 in the A-Z of HORROR series. I found most of the stories well worth the listen and some not so much. All in all, it's a pretty good edition to the A-Z HORROR series and I do hope I can listen to more in the future.
Each of the stories in I IS FOR INTERNET, focus on the online cyber world. From stalkers to demons to just plain weirdness, this book of stories has it all and might make one a little hesitant to log on in the future!!

Black mirror fans will like this-
The stories were like mini black mirror episodes. Kinda makes you not want to get online…..
The main issue I had was that sometimes the delineation between stories wasn’t notable enough- just a sentence, and it made the story run together. It would take a minute to realize it was on to a new story.

While not every story can be an absolute gem, there were quite a few. And none of the stories were uninteresting. The narrator's performance was solid. This makes me interested to check out the other editions of this anthology series.

Fun Anthology
Really fun anthology with some interesting stories. My favorite was definitely
The Pretty Girls by Tim O’Neal.
The Narrator’s voice sounded nice but he occasionally made some odd inflections and strange pauses and some characters had a weird (Irish?) accent for no apparent reason 😁. But other than that, he was easy to listen to. I’ll be reading/listening to more of the A-Z of Horror.

Creepy, Disturbing Stories
While these stories didn't keep me up at night, they were enjoyable and worth the listen. My favorite one was Facebook Friends by Steven Streeter. Not only is he a talented author, but his story seemed finished. I felt like a lot of the stories ended as if the author wanted to continue them in a longer work or, perhaps, simply ran out of time/space to finish. But Steven Streeter's story gave a satisfying ending that I appreciated. I especially liked his writing.
I chose this book because I'd just finished a full-length book he'd written (Invasive Speces) and wanted to hear more from him. I wasn't disappointed! I hope he puts out more audiobooks soon!
