Publisher's summary

No one knew that Betty wore corrective lenses until she showed up for Sunday coffee wearing a very thick pair of warped-lensed dark brown plastic-framed glasses. She’d contracted an eye infection resulting in one of her eyes becoming a beady little eye. Roger, her cousin, made sure to point that out.

At coffee, Roger accidentally spilled the beans regarding him dating someone named Pat. Unable to squash their curiosity, wanting to learn more about this mysterious Pat person, Aggie and Betty followed Roger to a day spa in Palm Springs. That was when Aggie received a dreaded phone call from her archnemesis, better known as the other grandmother. Anita had flown into town and was standing on her front porch expecting a girl’s weekend.

Join Aggie and friends in this silly yet quirky short story comedy, as they hope to learn more about this mysterious Pat person, and stumble into some serious trouble in the process.

Cute short mystery

Aggie and friends solve another mystery! I love Aggie’s dry witty humor. This was an excellent short audiobook to listen to while gardening.

Another cute short story in the Aggie Underhill saga! Love the back and forth banter between the ladies and Roger of course. Well written by Michelle Ann Hollstein. Entertaining narration by Trish Elliot. I highly recommend!

Who are these people!?

I love how each of the books stand alone, yet each work together. This time, Roger has a 'friend' named Pat. Unfortunately, he won't give all of the details. Abbie and Betty don't even know if Pat is MALE or FEMALE!
On top of this, after 20+ years, Aggie realizes there is so much about Betty, her best friend of 20+ years, that she doesn't know! How is that possible? In the meantime, a man is murdered and, this time Betty finds the body!
This is just one more funny, quirky escapade of Aggie, Betty and Roger that I enjoyed from start to end!
I listened to the audiobook version and Trish Elliott out does herself. She tells a great story!

Aggie strikes again!

I love Aggie Underhill and her quirky friends! Once again, Aggie's curiosity (dare I say nosiness?) leads her and her friend Betty, along with her arch nemesis, Anita, into a murder mystery. Aggie and Betty are determined to find out more about Roger's friend, Pat. Is Pat a man or a woman? Are Pat and Roger just friends or something more? When their quest leads them to a day spa, they also stumble upon a murder scene. Of course, Aggie is able to solve that mystery, but Pat still remains an enigma.

The characters are wonderfully quirky, the dialogue between them is hilarious and the descriptions of their activities will make you laugh out loud. If you enjoy cozy mysteries and are looking for a quick and entertaining story, you can't go wrong with this one or any of the Aggie Underhill stories. The author has created a group of characters that seem like old friends and I know that I can count on a hilarious read when I delve into Aggie's world.

The narrator is perfect for this story and she added a lot to my enjoyment of the book. I was given the chance to listen to this book by the author/narrator/publisher and chose to review it.
