Publisher's summary
2024 re-release!
Book Six of the massive Adrian's Undead Diary post apocalyptic zombie epic is here at last!
Adrian Ring and evil don't get along.
When he can't be corrupted, turned, or forced to give up, evil will target those around him, including the family he had thought was dead.
In book six of Adrian's Undead Diary, no one near Adrian is safe. Many will make the ultimate sacrifice to ensure that he can keep his loved ones protected at any cost, and rebuild a new, better world.
In the Arms of Family also follows Kevin and Michelle as their stories entwine and bring them ever closer to the horrors that surround Adrian across the vast Atlantic Ocean.
How long can they survive before the dead finish what they came to do?
In the Arms of Family contains Adrian's journal entries from June 23rd, 2011 through August 30th, 2011. It also is the home for Under the Moroccan Sun, The Great Fire, Becca, and Paranoia Island.

Real, flawed, and raw, Dark Recollections is Adrian's own story of how he survived after "That Day". Told through his eyes as he talks to his laptop, affectionately named "Mr. Journal".

In this 2024 re-release, the apocalypse has ended for Adrian Ring, and the rebuilding of the world has begun. But have all the stories of the old world's death been told? Elsewhere on Earth, there is a plane filled with innocents, and a criminal could wipe it from the skies with a tide of undeath. A young man in Manhattan is going mad with hunger and fear. A veterinarian races to save her animal patients, and their owners, one by one. A drunk lunatic is driven to self-destruction, craving the undead horde and the absolution they will give him.

It was just a random mutation - one of a billion that happen in viruses every day. But this one was different. It exploded out of Somalia and spread across the oceans before anybody thought to look up from their cell phones to see what was going on. The infected breathed the virus into the air around them, spreading it through the cities faster than anyone thought possible. Hospitals were overwhelmed. Police lines crumbled. Quarantine sites disintegrated. Cities started to collapse.

Story
The world crashed to pieces on June 23rd and Adrian Ring wasn't anywhere near ready for it. He had no guns, no food, no friends around, a cat that wanted to slip out the back of the condo and a girlfriend trapped in the heart of the city. This is the story of how he survived. Real, flawed, and raw, Dark Recollections is Adrian's own story of how he survived after "That Day". Told through his eyes as he talks to his laptop, affectionately named "Mr. Journal".

Story
Tesser, the dragon of life itself, is one of seven: Earth’s primordial draconic guardians, destined to oversee its development and safety. Species rose and fell, and 10,000 years ago...Tesser disappeared. The golden dragon woke up this morning, buried deep beneath the city of Boston, with no idea how he got there, and no idea how humanity grew so fast and learned so much while he was away. He is lost, a fish out of water. Where is the magic? He’s got a lot of catching up to do if he’s going to find his missing sister and stop an incursion of daemons from beyond the Veil.

This author, James Philbrook actually did it!
What an amazing story, not your average zombie read. This is funny, exciting, keeping you wanting more! That’s a huge feat considering most zombie books are the same. I find myself buying the next book before I’m done listening to the previous one. Hats off to you sir!! Amazing, absolutely amazing read!!
