That is, until Daniel decides to prove her wrong and get her back. Faced with more obstacles than she could have ever bargained for when it comes to Daniel, and struggling to keep her own identity while sharing a life with her man, buds of doubt start rooting in Hayley's confidence, making her rethink her decision. A little slow, a little dull

Not much happened. It was ok at 1.5x normal speed. You aren’t likely to listen a second time.

Awesome Series

This series took me on an emotional roller coaster. They went through so many emotional spikes. I loved the characters- wished they get their S#^% together so many times but loved every second of it. Damaged souls to the core but together they can heal. Absolutely loved it.

Again, narration was top notch. Great readings

I BROKE 1 OF THE 10 COMMANDMENTS..... GLUTTONY

As I happily indulged myself well into the wee small hours of the morning craving each and every chapter, I thought it was like having a box of my favorite chocolates as I kept mentally saying "oh just one more" over and over again until sadly, before too long, I'd devoured the lot. Yup, I knew it wasn't good for me.... but they were each just soooo yummy.

As Daniel and Hayley's rocky, up and down, intense love affair continues there's more heartbreak and shocks in store for them. Luckily Hayley had her two best friends to support and bring humor to her through each devastating step and they both had sub romances of their own too.

Even better than book 1. There's character growth as, through each bitter challenge, they realise they just can't survive apart, it's very romantic, touching, intense with lots of needy but mild sex scenes and had a few shocking twists but the end result is a HEA and a lovely Epilogue.

Worth a credit? Well written and narrated, a bit rushed at the end, had some flawed but loveable characters who I'll miss, the sex could've been hotter but the romance, gulp and wow, that was off the charts! And, as I reflect back over this enjoyable roller coaster two book ride, I know it was 2 credits well spent.

Good, but not remarkable

As Daniel and Hayley's saga continues you get more drama, added with some sweet get-aways, and unexpected moments, and you have a nice finale to this love affair. Both Daniel and Hayley have a bit of aftermath to resolve from when they were broken up, but the make up part is always nice. The love scenes are not extremely emotionally compelling, or as detailed as I would like, but I guess you could say that they were good enough. You still have a very strong best friend trio who are always there for Hayley, in the good and bad times. Daniel seems to work a lot in this one, and the time apart was kind of a bummer, but Daniel seemed to make it up to Hayley in some way, or other. In this book, you get to meet Daniel's mother Iris, who was so sweet. There is also some jealous moments on Daniel's part that he had to work through. Drama ensues when one of Hayley's past hook-ups comes to stir up trouble (which I thought was refreshing since novels always seem to explore the crazy past hook-ups of the guy's coming to haunt the couple). Hayley is still a commit-a-phobe, but there are some events that occur that have her moving forward in her HEA with Daniel. I thought the epilogue was lackluster, as it was too sketchy, moving here and there. I couldn't say that the epilogue was amazing, only good and sweet. But, I think that's a good descriptor for this romance in general, it was "good," nothing remarkable or amazing, just good. Hey, sometimes, that's good enough.

Narrators: Nelson Hobbs continued to perform for only the epilogue as it's in Daniel's POV. I do love his voice, so it was enjoyable. Aletha George continued to do well in her narration.

Pretty good

In the first book, I thought the main guy was very cliche, but I grew to understand him better in this book. His personality got much more 3 dimensional in this one.

It all started with an illicit f*ck me!

I can’t say enough about this book, it has all the feels and is so well done. The storyline to the characters flows together with such chemistry and passion you can’t help but stay glued straight through to the end. Psycho Stark, Hales, Eon and Tosh will forever be some of my most memorable and favorite characters of all time. This is most definitely is a good recommend !

Better than book 1!

I must say... was dang near better than book 1... So glad this is a two book series...because I couldn't hangle another cliffhanger. This settlet thing right nicely to Stark and O's RIP relationship... Loved it! Quite smexy too...

Loved the ending...

Well worth the credit or a sale... It's pricey... but I would in fact buy this...the story was that good..

Narration, again... same as book 1 pretty good!

Whirlwind Romance

Inner Circle picks up right where Layers ended. Being the second half of a duet, I thought there might be a little less drama and it would be more "lovey dovey" than the first but it was LOADED with drama. Just when one issue is just about resolved, another one comes up. Even with all the drama, there was no shortage of love and adoration. I'm pretty sure I fell even more in love with Daniel than I ever thought possible! There were a few parts that seem rushed and/or glossed over but it was overall a really good read!

Aletha George did another outstanding job with the narration!
