Publisher's summary

Imagine walking up to anyone and being able to start and maintain a conversation. This ability can completely change your life in all areas.

Have you ever known someone who can instantly connect with anyone? Having the ability to start and hold conversations with ease, no matter who this person meets, he or she manages to create a sense of trust and understanding within a matter of minutes.

We can intuitively believe that this is a natural gift - either you can build rapport like this, or you can't. However, this isn't correct: developing rapport is a skill that anyone can learn and use.

It doesn't matter what industry you're in or what position you hold - knowing how to build rapport can bring you countless opportunities. After all, when you have rapport with someone, that person can help you succeed!

So what is rapport? And how can you learn the skills needed to build it? We'll examine all of this, and more, in this book.

Topics covered:

  • How rapport can set you apart from your competition
  • What people are attracted to and how to build this important quality
  • How to boost sales face to face and on the phone
  • The essential skill to improve your confidence and your ability to start and maintain conversations
  • The lack of this one skill that is the reason business and personal relationships break down

Loved the book. Content great. Price great. the reader was ok but it took nothing from material the slow way the reader read made information more digestible.

Any age can benefit using these communication tips

I listened to the audio version several times abd will listen one more time and jot down a few notes, as this will help me in my family communication, work, making new friends. It gives you that actually very large advantage over someone who hasn't studied communication and building rapport. It's a short read but you get a lot of bang in that short read. The narration was pretty good but he seemed to speak a little slow or over pronounce words, or maybe it's because I do just the opposite and I can't even understand what I'm saying. So it made me aware to finish each word before going to next word. I would have like to have heard the reading in the original authors voice it would have been with a very heavy accent.

Was that a robot narrating tis?

The content of this eBook is spot on. Anyone could benefit from it. Unfortunately it sounds like it's being read by a robot which becomes very distracting. I'd like to share it with my kids, however knowing my 17 year old I'm concerned he'd turn it off after the first 30 seconds.

My recommendation: find a more natural narrator. Other than that: 5 stars
