To save a world....
...he must rely on God.
After years of fighting for justice with his deadly nanotech, Templar Drin abandons his post, crash landing on a desert world controlled by a tyrannical alien empire. Its inhabitants are forced into slavery, broken where a once-proud race cultivated its lands.
For the first time in Drin's life, he has no backup, no support, none of his brothers.
He stands alone against evil.
Drin must face overwhelming odds to liberate millions of slaves from their captors and bring faith to a downtrodden world. But in his way stands the most dangerous weapon in the galaxy.
Can Drin use his Templar training to survive?

The individuals reading (especially the male) could have a little more inflection and emotion as they are reading however.

For instance, how many hands is the guy that lost three hands supposed to have? I might have missed it with an audio book. What does a laser repeater look like? Are they all the same? I don't have an issue with my imagination leading, just curious.
I am not sure how to even spell her name, Annalessa, she has long ears, and a tail. Is she a wolf/fox lady, or is most of her body not covered in hair. I assume from all the golden pikini stuff she, that is her race is not covered in fur, but not super clear.
Still, I really enjoyed it, or I should say am enjoying as I am into Chapter 28 right now. Great job, keep it up.
Great job

She was a solid character to help with the readers coming to the conclusion that the antagonists were indeed a force that needed to be defeated, I also appreciate how the author makes Anais's more reckless actions come with real consequences. I've seen way too much writing outside of the this book where the female character can basically do anything but the story basically bows down to them.
I'm looking forward to getting in on the next two books!
An enjoyable tale!

I do have a few minor complaints, but they're stylistic, detail stuff in the text, nothing terribly major. Mainly there are just a bunch of places where the word choice is jarring and weird, and it often just happens to be in the middle of intense scenes where an immersion break hurts the most. Some of the descriptions of characters' faith experiences are also compromised by weird word choice in this way, though others are effective and evocative.
Solid book, good two-voice recitation on Audible
