Publisher's summary

For here or to go? It’s a question Nathaniel O’Toole asks every day while working in his uncle’s pie shop. But when Harrison Rutledge walks through the front door, Nathaniel can’t help but imagine a third option — forever.

Not that it’s possible, of course.

Even if a guy as attractive as Harrison wanted him, Nathaniel’s duty is with his uncle’s business. Ever since his older brother disappeared, he’s done his best to keep what little family he has left together.

He can’t let a man interfere.

At least, not until the impossible happens and Nathaniel’s brother comes home.

Nathaniel O’Toole is the sweetest thing in Pie Five bakery, and Harrison Rutledge can’t help but want a taste. When he leaves his number, he hopes Nathaniel will call to ask him out, but when he finally gets in touch, it’s for business — his brother needs help.

And so might Harrison if he can’t get Nathaniel out of his head.

Keep Me is the third and final novella in the Rutledge Brothers series. Please note: This book was previously released in May 2017 under the same title, but its contents, including elements of its plot, have significantly changed.

So sweet!

This is a short and sweet listen that I just love. I love the final story of the Rutledge Brothers. I love Harrison and Nate! I absolutely love listening to this sweet romance. This is short but still so amazing. Dennis Adams has done an amazing job with this narration. He brings the emotions to this story. I love it!

Harrison and Nathaniel

Harrison is so sweet and gentle. I liked how kindness was his default. Nathaniel's desire for Harrison is palpable. He impressed me with his support for his broken brother and his strength when standing up for himself with his uncle. Harrison does right by Nate, respecting him and his family; earning my respect by his chivalrous actions. Loved the ending.

Audiobook: great narrator

Sweet and enjoyable

This is one of those books that works like a blanket. Or a fire. Or hot chocolate. It serves a purpose and that is mainly to warm you up and make you feel good. It’s got a goey midsection and a sweet aftertaste. Along these parameters I really enjoy this short, emotional story of Harrison and Nathaniel. It had its lesson and was pretty much to the point. I enjoyed it.

The Last Rutledge Brother Finds Love

After his other two brothers find love, Harrison is wondering when he will. He gets his chance when he meets Nathaniel.

I enjoyed this series, but I felt like this book was a little too short. All of their dates were described in a few minutes right before the epilogue. I'm glad there was an epilogue; it solidified their HEA.

I wish Dylan was part of the Single Dad Support Group series. Hopefully, he'll have his own story in the future.

Short and sweet

Nathaniel was a sympathetic character. I would have liked to see more of Harrison POV to get to know him better. I felt like there was a lot here that could have been fleshed out more if it was a longer story. I was not a fan of the uncle, and I thought the conflict with him went deeper than a few stressed out moments and resolved a little too easily, considering the beliefs underpinning his treatment of both omegas. Otherwise it was a cute romance and it was interesting to have an omegaverse book centered around a side character's pregnancy .

Short, sweet, romance

I was looking forward to Harrison's story and it didn't disappoint. He is an absolutely sweet and adoring alpha and he gets the perfect omega for him. My heart broke for Nathaniel's brother so I was glad that we got to see him come out of his shell a little during the story. It was impressive how Harrison was able to step back and be a gentleman with Nathaniel and that made their relationship that much better. I've enjoyed the Rutledge brothers and my only real complaint is the stories were too short but we can let that slide for these Alphas. Narration was okay.

Very good

Harrison met Nathaniel at the pie shop. While there, Nathaniel got news that his brother who had been missing was found. Dylan, the brother, was pregnant and Harrison is a doula. This is a shorter audible and is perfect for listening when doing errands!

I indeed kept you

Ah, finally Harrison is getting his own happily ever after and I’m so happy for him. Now let’s get reviewing.

Harrison found his calling as a doula and loved helping omegas in need. While he loves helping the omegas, he long to meet and have a family with an omega of his own. And that dream came true in the form of a cute omega bringing pie to him when he stopped for coffee after a long shift. Nathaniel is an omega who’s lived a somewhat trying life. When Nathaniel’s older brother returned home after five years, it unexpected brought Harrison and Nathan closer.

Sweet, short, gooey and exciting. Everything in love in a short novella. I enjoyed Dylan playing a big part in the story actually. He really tied the story well. And yes, Harrison and Nathaniel are really sweet together. That sweet kiss and everything! I’m sad that the series has come to an end but I enjoyed taking this journey together with Rutledge brothers.

Great Story!

A caring, nurturing Harrison meets his mate Nate over coffee and pie. Little did Harrison know the card he left behind would be out to use in more than one way!

Great storyline and performance.

Sweet

I love this sweet story. We still get a peek at the recovery of those from the Lotus but it doesn't involve any of the main characters. It was a nice way to wrap up the series. I love the way they caught feelings from the beginning.
I listened to the audio version and I enjoyed it very much.
