About this listen

The Tavenner group takes on organized crime in Nevada (and a criminal politician while they're at it) in this sequel to The Immersion.

Will the team end up getting caught between the Nevada underworld and the FBI?

What lengths will they be forced to go to in order to escape?

Publisher's note: Like Book One, this book also closes nicely with no cliffhangers or loose ends. It is, however, recommended that the reader begin with the first book in the series, Killer Trace: The Immersion for a better understanding of how the Tavenner group operates, and for familiarization of the characters in the series.

Newberry did it again.

The second in a series. This one kept the intensity of the first, filled with intrigue and deception. Fast moving mind engaging action might keep you up at night so don’t consume before bedtime. Highly recommended…

AMAZING!! Couldn't stop listening to it!!

Dan delivers a great book once again. Really enjoyed the entire book but loved the quick start right into the action. You actually become one with several characters in the book, His attention to detail is unmatched, and his insight into gear, guns, and long range strategy comes from real life experience.

I really liked the narrator much better this time around as well...keep it up!!

Another fun Vigilante thriller

If you enjoyed the first installment in this series, you'll like this one even more. It's a bit faster paced with more action, with new characters and further development with characters already established. I think the narrator did a fantastic job also, I'd say even better than the first book as well. I like how it didn't end on a cliffhanger, but with a solid indication of where we might be going in the next book. If you like well researched Vigilante type thrillers, you will enjoy this series.

Exiting Plot Twists and Action

The Tavenner group has returned for more vigilante justice and this time bringing into the fold beautiful female twins. They complete a hunt, take on the underworld of Nevada and the FBI! Their final act is setting up the real estate scammer for a nasty failed deal!

The author, Dan Newberry, weaves an intricate story of vigilante justice complete with plot twists. He is a masterful storyteller revealing details in small amounts but that are crucial to the storyline. He is concise. Each character is fully developed and has a rich storyline. Newberry’s fresh take on justice keeps the listeners attentive!

The narrator, Katelyn Michals gives an excellent performance. She builds the suspense accordingly and keeps the rhythm going consistently. She draws the listener in and keeps them captive as she reveals the action. Her unique voices for each character are well done also.

I have thoroughly enjoyed this series and hope for more. I enjoy the fact that Dan Newberry finishes each book off without cliffhangers. There are plenty of twists and moments of suspense but no cliffhangers at the end. Further, his knowledge of guns is apparent and well communicated. This is one of those “you can’t stop until you reach the end” books.

There were no issues with the quality or production of this audiobook. The sound was clear and well done.
