Sweet Love

Laya and Tyler are so sweet to watch fall for each other. I loved how sweet this love story was with some added suspense to spice it up and to keep you on your toes. I really enjoyed how everything unfolded and how these two came together. Karly is a new narrator to me, but I loved listening to her voice in this story.

Excellent

I have really enjoyed all of Lindzee's books. This was not an exception. It is a fun book that puts her in quite the predicament. She wants to be loyal to her family but learns things that no daughter wants to know. Her old boyfriend comes into town just as her father wants her to be engaged to someone else.

Lots of twists and turns. Great book!

Romantic suspense

I will not summarize this story because it was already given in the description of this book and I do not want to give any of the plot away. The purpose of this review is to give potential readers information to make an informed decision about reading/listening to this book.

What engaged me in this story:

• The author caught my attention right from the beginning and drew me into the story with how Layla's parents wanted Layla to solve their financial problems by sacrificing herself. You will have to listen to the book to find out what she was asked to do.
• Tyler and Layla were characters that you wanted to discover more about as you listened to their story.
• The minor players in this story added depth to the storyline. The characters were well developed.
• The descriptions of locations and emotions were well done, easy to visualize, and to feel. I felt a part of the scenes.
• The pacing of the story was neither too slow nor too fast.
• There were twists and turns to the plot.
• There was a smooth, coherent flow to this book.
• The transfer between Tyler's and Layla's viewpoint in the story was very smooth. So smooth, I did not consciously register the changes.
• This story had a satisfying ending.
• The narrator did an excellent job in differentiating the various characters' voices. She did an amazing job. She had a pleasant voice to listen to.
• This was a clean story.

I was given a free audiobook by the author. My review was voluntary and my opinions were my own. I will be listening to or reading more books by this author. I will also keep a lookout for books narrated by Karly Hutchins.

Love and misunderstanding

This is the second book in this series. I loved the first one. I enjoyed this one as well but I think I preferred the first one better. Both books had misunderstandings going on through the book. We meet Layla and Tyler in the first book and it was fun to see the rest of their story. We briefly get an update on Paige and Nick in this book. They are both stand alone books but I think they are more enjoyable read together. I would have liked to see a bit more conclusion with what happened with her family in the end. It felt a little to rushed in the end. I enjoyed listening to it in audiobook but I didn’t like the voices as much on this one as I have with some other of Lindzee’s with a different narrator.

Different Twist to a Love Triangle

You love your home and your parents and in order to save both, you are told you must date one of your parent's friends son. At the same time, the love of your life moves to your town and gets a job at the party where your engagement s announced. Neither you nor your fiance knows anything about this. The story twists and turns from there. No one is happy but the real man confronts your father and all of the lies come out. The narrator was good and made the story interesting. The ending was very good. I got this story via audiobook boom and this is my voluntary review.
