Not a fan

The material of the book was good, but the narrator ruined it for me. The book is just under 2 hours long, but it felt like it was 20 hours. Sample the book to make sure you can handle the narrator.

I recommend listening this book

Hoping to learn more about Business and managing your assets? Ever thought of starting an LP or LLC? Then I recommend reading this book. Garrett Sutton's "How to Use Limited Liability companies & Limited Partnerships" is very easy to read and will appeal to those interested in learning about LP's, LLC, and general partnerships without getting caught up in hard to understand dialogue. At the start of the book Sutton recommends getting a general advisor that can help explain anything that he misses. I found that to be a brilliant suggestion because many other books claim to teach you all you need to know, while not giving complete information.

Way too slow

Makes you wonder if the performance copy had awful punctuation (in which case the narrator did a great job of reading it exactly as he saw it) OR the narrator is awful. I've never heard such a monotone and choppy performance before, complete with mispronunciations! I'll give some leeway as I have a hunch that the narrator is not from the U.S.... maybe Canada.

Other than that, the material is okay but you get what you pay for. I found this to be more of a simple reading of the regulations than a TEACHING of the regulations. This book could have definitely used more layman's terms.

Tremendous value for your time and money

This is intro level of course, but for that, I'm well satisfied. A mix of simple examples with crucial terminology keeps it moving. This is effective to flag some of the prominent factors and complexities faced when deciding what organization to use, and it has some practical tips about getting further help. Plenty of short budget-priced introductory level audiobooks I buy here end up disappointing me, but not this one.

Really broke the terms and concepts down. I listened to it first next ill get my pen and paper and write thing down. Awesome book.

Good Information for Beginners

It’s more around defining the different structures. The narrator is terribly slow and a bit monotone but if you speed him up, it’s a good listen

Limited Liability Companies

This book does what the title promises, and gives us a look into the potential that Limited Liability Companies and Limited Partnerships hold for business owners. Stuart Broad goes into substantial depth while presenting the ideas in a way that those of us who didn't study law or accounting readily understand (though seeing a lawyer or accountant is still advisable-- something he acknowledges). In addition, the book is well-organized, and the cases he develops to illustrate his points are easy to follow and tie in well with their respective topics.

a joke at best

Worst audible book i have ever listened to (or tried to listen to). The narrator is horrible with very odd and lengthy pauses...so much that i had to speed it up to 1.45 speed to even liaten to it. He over emphasizes certain words where it is not needed. I am SO glad i did not waste a credit on this one and purchased it at the sale price. The information would have been good if the narration had been better but with such a horrible presentation i had to skip the last 4 chapters because i just could not listen to it anymore!

Narration is painful and awkward.

I am sure the content is accurate and good, but I couldn’t even get through it. The narrator was at times struggling to pronounce words. It was so deadpan and randomly paused that I couldn’t tell if every comma was a new sentence, which makes it confusing to process. I was literally uncomfortable listening to it. I would likely read and appreciate this book in written form, but when selling an audio book, narration is EXTREMELY important…even more so on a topic that is technical and doesn’t read like a novel.
