To the world, Kevin Peyton is the heartthrob Oscar nominee. To me, he's my best friend, with some sexy benefits. But then I got a taste of his world. A world where being mobbed by fans, violated by intruders, and stripped of all privacy is the norm. I never realized how brutal being in the spotlight would be. I didn’t fit into his world. I didn’t fit into his plans. I only wish I’d discovered that before falling in love with him and changing the game plan. Sometimes changing the game plan changes more than the game. Sometimes it changes your everything.

Nice story
The story was well written by Liz Matis, also well narrated by Ms. Maredith Nash she has a great voice that suits the story. As I began to listen to the story, I discovered that I was being drawn into the story and the lives of the characters.

Interesting story
Like a Drug by Liz Matis was a good and quick read. The story moves quickly, the attraction is strong and we get a few twists. Aaron and Poppy have chemistry and really love each other. I love the last part when Poppy made a song to Aaron, "It's called Heart Strings". She strummed the guitar with the beginning chords. I am excited about Aaron’s book, the third book in this duet, to see how it all ends.

Interesting story
I enjoyed this book very much and adored the principal character. Well written and keeps one's interest. The ending was appropriate and moving. I am happy to post a review in this book.
I don't want to spoil the book for anyone so I'll just say that you must listen to this audiobook. I stayed up all night after the book came out to listen to it because I was totally immersed in the story.
Liz is a literary genius. She is one of my favorite writers when it comes to listening to a great novel. Looking forward to the next book from her.

I cherished and adored this audiobook! The storyline is interesting and intriguing. The story of Heather is unique. This is my first time I purchase an audiobook and it didn't disappoint me. The book was good.
Let me begin with the positive. I liked this book. It seemed a bit more rushed than the one before. I also think the narrator for each book should have been switched. Yes, Poppy is a Country singer, but the narrator's southern accent was a bit of a distraction. Not enough though to stop listening.

Recommended to all romance lovers
This book was well-written and organized. I don't usually read/listen to love stories but this was amazing and kept me on the edge of my seat the whole time. It's an amazing and heartbreaking story to listen to. The pain and pleasure of their lives are played out through a fine plot and amazingly, the whole story is entirely believable.
The author's writing style is professional and polished. Her storyline of “Like a Drug: Double Trouble Duet, Book 2 by Liz Matis” kept me turning the page to the end. The title describes the plot, and the characters seem real due to the author’s talented writing. I loved this book and could hardly wait for my next chance to listen to more.
Overall, a very interesting story that touched by heart. I would love a sequel to continue listening to it. I highly recommend this book for anyone who is searching for paradise in a relationship. I look forward to listening to more from Valerie's audiobook.
