Completely okay

The story in itself was quite all right I think. My personal opinion is generally that I'm not too into romance books though, not when that's practically all the book is about. I normally like books that have some other plot going on and the romance is more like a side effect or possibly a just as big plot but running beside other happenings.
I did know this wasn't going to be a book with a lot of other things happening already before though so I didn't mind too much.

I did listen all the way through *smile* and grew more fond of the characters in time, even though they will never be even close to my favourite characters of other books.

I did enjoy the stpry most of the time.

The narrator though... took some getting used to. He didn't read the book in the same way at all that I would probably have done if I had read a printed version. Sometimes it felt a little bit rushed between two sentences. It was also clear each time there was a "break", he didn't read everything evenly enough to make breaks really smooth.
In the very beginning I had some troubles following because he has this... drawl? to his voice and since my native isn't english I sometimes have a harder time understanding when someone isn't talking clearly enough.
I got kind of used to it after some time though.

In the end I found it an okay listen. (:

Horrible Narration

No sure how good this story is because the narration was so bad, I immediately stop listening as soon as it started.

THE READER IS THE WORST

Would you try another book from Victor J. Banis and/or Lee Roberts?

I'll read it and see what I think, I won't ever buy another audible book read by Lee Roberts, he is the worst ever.

Has Longhorns turned you off from other books in this genre?

No

How did the narrator detract from the book?

He is horrible, he made the characters sound like 4 year old girls. Whoever hired him to read should be fired.

You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?

I couldn't get through it the reader was so bad.

Any additional comments?

I want my credit back!!!!!!
