Publisher's summary

“There’s no taming a fae like the Silent Death...”

Emelin has escaped the Crimson Court and saved Creon from the Mother’s chains. But her newfound allies bring dangers of their own. Thrown into a world of old feuds and thorny grudges, she needs all her ingenuity to keep the Silent Death safe from his friends-turned-enemies.

The political games of the Alliance are the easy part…

Haunted by shadows of his past and magic he never wanted to wield, Creon is slowly losing control of his powers. The only solution may be found outside the buried halls of the Alliance’s stronghold—back within reach of the Mother and her armies hunting for him.

Soon Emelin can no longer hide from the war looming over the archipelago. When her quest for Creon’s safety reveals glimpses of her own mysterious origins, she has no choice but to claim her place on the battlefield…or lose the male she loves forever.

Lord of Gold and Glory is book two of the Fae Isles series, an epic fae fantasy romance perfect for fans of Sarah J. Maas, Jennifer L. Armentrout, and Raven Kennedy. Intended for mature audiences.

Wonderful continuation

This book was even better than the first in my opinion. The development of their love and their characters was brilliant. I loved all the twist and turns this book took me through, they were extremely clever. I can't wait for the continuation.

New favorite

5 stars without a doubt and a new favorite. The narrator is great! The last half of this book is a whirlwind

In love with these side characters!

I enjoyed this one. It was nice to see Creon in a different light though I spent the whole book feeling bad for the likely deserved hatred. He is by far my favorite character and I love his and Emelin’s relationship.

I also enjoyed meeting all of the new characters and seeing their development in this world. I can’t wait to see what happens next in the series!

THE BEST IN THE SERIES

This one is my favorite book in the series, I think. Read the .5 book between books 1 and 2 for the best effect IMO

Loved it!

Loved it! Fun read, not too light but not so sad you can’t go on and are miserable. 😅

But I have one question… if emotions of people hating him make him feel like crap how come demons get a high from it? Like shouldn’t he feel amazing because everyone hates him? 🤪

Great storyline

I have loved the Fae Isles series so far. I cannot wait for the 3rd in this series to be released. I am dying to know if Creon gets his happy ending.

Great Plot - FMC now annoying

I loved Books 0.5 and 1, although even in book 1, the FMC started becoming increasingly annoying. In this book, I skipped through several of her internal monologues and interactions with other people. Shame because I do love all the other characters in the book and the storyline overall.
