*Sigh*

I can't with this one.
Riley is a pushover. A girl with a crapton of issues, she folds the minute her sister tosses past mistakes in her face. Her sister was a HUGE issue for me. Because she had a successful life, she uses her own "good" choices to push Riley to do what she wants. So much so, she makes Riley SWEAR to not see Ashe ever again. why? Because he's an actor and actors are just like her selfish, conceited, ex called Gareth. Who, I might add, used her, manipulated her, and only wants her simply because someone even breathed in his Ex's direction. Ashe was the ONLY character I did care for. he seemed genuine and caring. even challenging Riley to choose things because she wanted them even though her sister didn't want her to have them. This went on and on throughout the book that I gave up.

The narration. Good grief. I won't listen to this narrator again. Please find a different cadence. if I wanted to hear the clip-clop of horses, I'd listen to horses, not an audio book. She read every line EXACTLY the same way. It was distracting and I didn't even hear a separation between characters voices. Apparently in her world everyone speaks like that. Her accents were also terrible. Southern to Yorkshire, she had no clue what either sounded like.

I had to speed this book up to 1.5 because I needed to get through it. for some reason I have a hard time not finishing an entire book not matter if I like it or not. Eeesh!
