Spoiler alert, I did have a hard time with the period blood, but did love all the steamy sex and Lucas cocky and dominate personality.

Mafia Obsession (Arranged Marriage - Dark Mafia Billionaire Series) is the highly anticipated Luca Sovrano's story which I have been waiting for since we met him in Mafia King (Michael Sorvano and Karma West's lovestory.)
I absolutely love this authors writing style and how she creates these characters that are their own alphaholes with redeemable qualities and females who are cool beans with witty sense of humor. I loved the banter between Luca and Jeanne and how the author includes movie characters and quotes in these books. So much fun. I love the term "Dickwaffles" which Jeanne used as a curse word. Lol. Each of these books keeps you craving more and loving each one more than the previous ones.
The plot is addictive, romantic, highly suspenseful, and smexyness all swirled together to create a exciting read/listen.

Aaron Shedlock, CJ Bloom excellently bring this romance to reality. Aaron's deep tone shows Luca's character. C.J. Booms confidence is exuberant and portraits Jeanine's character perfectly. Her inflection is smooth and easy listening.

I like this series, the first several books were great. But this one was not my favorite. Compared to the others it was bland, and predictable. The female character was too childish, immature and very annoying.

Lol omg! It’s like the plot of a really bad action movie ( something with Jason Stathom😆). Having said that, well lots of people love that kinda thing. I think if I had been younger(15 instead of 30) this possibly could have become a guilty pleasure book for me. Also The female narration while not bad def missed the mark for a streaky action romance. Her prim older voice just adds to the outrageously *face covering* ridiculousness😂🤦🏼‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤣👌🏻‼️

Jean is whining and complaining all the time!!! I can’t stand listening to a book with such a women! I actually feel sorry for the Capo!
Wish I could get my credit back, this book wasn’t worth it!

I hate when I leave bad reviews but this book wasn’t great… performance was 3 stars because the male narrator maybe saved the story? I have 2 hours left and I can’t do it. I’m going to request my credit back. Where do I start:
female lead: childish. Immature, ridiculous, annoying, kind of a jerk, and that’s the nice things I can’t say about her… the other female characters in this series were better. Kind of dissatisfied and disappointed that maybe the book was rushed? I get she’s only 22 I really do… but lord help me she was a selfish little brat. Kind of a B^^%% and I don’t like calling woman every fictional ones names… but she had no deapth, no likable traits, just no… Luca was saved by the narration. And let’s talk about spice, kink, love scenes.. what ever they should be called… the entirety of the period scenes (yes more than 1.. heck more than 3) Kind of gross! No 100% gross eeee doing the deed is one thing but this was just too much.. i felt like the author was messing with us.. just to see if we would read it? Idk .. I’m not really into the period blood stuff it was way to much and way to long… once was enough… either way. I give it a solid 2 stars. It should have not been a full credit for sure. Maybe add to audible unlimited? I’ve listened to over 600 audiobooks in the last few years and I can say this was in the top 5 worst stories.
