2004년 영화진흥공사 재외동포 장편 시나리오 부문에 「썸머레인」이 당선되면서 작품 활동을 시작한 작가 황희는 휴먼 스릴러라는 한 가지 장르만으로 지금까지 9편 이상의 중단편 소설과 시나리오를 집필했다. 어떤 소설이라도 결국은 인간에 의한, 인간을 위한, 인간이 주제인 그녀의 작품 성격은 여러 단편들을 소개하면서 구체화 되어간다.
