Not only does this pick up exactly where book 1 left off, but there’s a handy little recap to kick things off. (I still recommend reading this series in order.)

It was another quick read, but that doesn’t mean A TON happens—and enjoy! Fully recommend.

4.5 stars.

Also:
I loved the crossover with some of Thorn’s other books, calamity and the appearance of familiar characters. Be sure to check out the reading order for maximum enjoyment of this entire world!

Can't get enough of this world...

I wouldn’t start this series. All three of these books could be combined into one but it seems the author is greedy. The books are broken up strangly and they abruptly stop. It doesn’t help that the story give no world building or background. You’re just thrown into the story with no clue what’s going on. Huge waste of money!

Story meh. Female narrator great. Males meh.
