Mr. Right-Swipe

A Tale of #LeftSwipes, #NotMyTypes, and #Vodka

Rae Wallace would rather drown in a vat of pinot greezh and be eaten by her own beagle than make another trip down the aisle - even if it is her best friend's wedding. She's too busy molding the minds of first graders and polishing that ol' novel in the drawer to waste time on any man.

But when her best friends stage an intervention, Rae is forced to give in. After all, they've hatched a plan to help her find love the 21st century way: online. She's skeptical of this electronic chlamydia catcher, but she's out to prove she hasn't been too picky with men.

However, when a familiar fella's profile pops up - the dangerously hot substitute teacher from work - Rae swipes herself right into a new problem.

Sarcastic, irreverent, and uproariously funny - the painfully true, so-insightful-it-hurts kind of funny - Ricki Schultz's wry debut will speak to fans of Bridesmaids or Trainwreck and to anyone who's ever been on a bad date.

Critic reviews

"Schultz's book is a delightful tale which highlights the modern struggle of finding love when you're single. With an easy writing style and language that would fit in with any group of millennial women, it's a greatly relatable story. For a fun read that feels like an adventure in everyday life more than it does a book, this comes highly recommended." ( RT Book Reviews)

So much fun!

This by far is the best book I have read in a very long time! It kept me wanting to continue to drive in my car as I was listening to it even if I arrived at my destination. I cannot wait for more books from Ricki Schultz. She is an amazing writer.

If I could give this book zero stars

Oh my god this book is horrible! I could not finish it. I tried and tried to get through it. I love romcom. But this one was disgusting. The main female protagonist was gross. She was not compelling or heartwarming or funny or charming or any other attribute to make a romcom worthwhile. The premise is all there, school teacher who writes erotica is an awesome platform to start with. But the way she’s written, does not endear you to her and therefore it all falls apart. What a missed opportunity because all the pieces are there it’s just the writing. I hope some other Writer/Author comes along and picks up these pieces and puts it together and I’ll definitely read it. If I can get this book 0 stars I would. I truly want my money back. How do I get my money back?

Chic Lit

1st half was good enough, 2nd half was full of whining and no fun at all!
I keep forgetting I don't care for this narrator, her over-acting always grates on my nerves eventually.
