Publisher's summary

A woman’s dream, a warning, a murder, but it's the wrong person.

When a mistaken identity murder happens at her sister’s bookstore in Cottonwood Springs, Brigid has no choice. She has to find the person who intended to murder her sister.

Not everyone liked her sister, Fiona. Several people could have done it, including the competing bookstore owner, the religious fanatic, the psychic, and her landlady. Now all Brigid has to do is figure out if it was one of them or just a random event.

Sometimes it’s a good thing to have a 125-pound Newfoundland dog for a pet, particularly when the creek runs deep and fast.

This is the third book in the Cottonwood Springs series by a two-time USA Today best-selling author, and one guaranteed to bring a smile to your face and leave a warm feeling in your heart.

Enjoyed listening to this book

I enjoyed listening to this book. I have been listening to these books out of order and still understand who the characters are.

Bookstore mystery

This story really hits home for Brigid when there’s a murder that involves her sister’s bookstore. There are a lot of possible suspects. There’s so many different parts to this story. Brigid is worried about her sister. But she’s also building a new relationship with a young woman who is living with her. And she has a blossoming relationship with her neighbor. And on top of all of that Brigid is determined to find out who the murderer is.

who done it

I think it would be a little creepy to investigate your own murder. but who else would be more invested in the cause??? If they would have listened better to the medium and followed her warning.... I wasn't surprised at the villain, but enjoyed the sleuthing. I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this and am giving an honest review. The narrator did a good job bringing it to life.

Enjoyable cozy!

Murder at the Bookstore is the third in the Cottonwood Springs cozy mystery series by Dianne Harman. I have read several of the series out of order and its not an issue. Several mysteries to be solved in this one, but the main story includes Fiona and Brigid. I love the sisters relationship and interactions. The narration by Anna Wheeler is wonderful. The characters come alive. Another great addition to the series.

Love Dianne Harman

This was an amazing book! The story line was terrific! The sisters are so close and can practically read each other’s mind! Bridgette has assisted the sheriff on other murders so she steps in to help after one of Leonas employees was killed. The killer thought it was Leona. The girls were Adamant about finding the killer. With the help of a medium and a stray dog, to the dismay of the Sheriff they did it! You will never believe the ending! Great job!
