I can relate

Growing up without a dad is hard, but you never gave up. That's admirable. I can imagine how it must have felt to see your dad everywhere except at home. It must have been a constant reminder of his absence and the pain of not having him in your life.

I'm glad that you were able to find strength and resilience in the face of this challenge. It's not easy to grow up without a father, but you did it. You're a survivor.

I know that his absence still hurts, but I want you to know that you're not alone. There are many people who have grown up without a dad, and we understand the pain and challenges that come with it.

If you ever need to talk about it, I'm here for you.

Here is an expanded version of your text:

Growing up without a dad was hard. It felt like I was always missing a piece of myself. I would see other kids with their dads and feel a pang of envy. I wondered what it was like to have a dad who was there for me, who loved me and supported me unconditionally.

But I never gave up. I knew that I had to be strong for myself. I had to learn to rely on my own strength and resilience.

One of the hardest things was seeing my dad everywhere except at home. I would see him on TV, in movies, and even in the faces of other kids' dads. It was a constant reminder of his absence and the pain of not having him in my life.

But I learned to cope. I learned to accept that my dad wasn't going to be there for me the way that I wanted him to be. But I also learned that I didn't need him to be complete. I was strong enough on my own.

I'm still healing from the pain of growing up without a dad. But I'm stronger than I ever thought I could be. I've learned to love myself and to accept myself for who I am. And I know that my dad, wherever he is, would be proud of me.

I hope this expanded version is helpful.
