At last, a long-awaited reunion!

After overcoming numerous trials and titanic challenges, Angeline finally returns to her hometown with her party members and reunites with her beloved father, Belgrieve, for some much-needed rest and relaxation in the countryside. But amidst home comforts and nostalgic joy, her father feels duty bound to make sure she's not holding back as a warrior, even against him: "If you want to continue as an adventurer, defeat me first!"

The Black-Haired Valkyrie faces off against the Red Ogre in this next chapter of the heartwarming tale of a father and his elite-adventurer daughter.

Good read

Loving the storyline so far. The Red Orge is getting more renowned by mistake. The daughter just encourages it.

Not Bad

So, what's up with those crappy chapter titles? I mean, if you are that lazy then just leave them as chapter numbers. Anyway, this was a good continuation of the story but it definitely moves along at the pace of a slice-of-life novel. I don't feel as negatively as the goofball reviewer who thinks all the characters are stuck at five years old, but the story definitely moves at its own pace. I thought it was pretty good otherwise and definitely entertaining but I also felt like the story needs a strong narrator to bring out the best from it, and this guy was not that great. There are so many female characters in this book that I really think it would have been better served with a female narrator. All the same, if you were ok with the first book then I can recommend continuing the series.

Characters in Amber

Nothing happens in this book. The characters never change since first being introduced in the first book. The daughter is still 5 years old and father has yet to go through puberty.

The only details of note are the 5 year old might not be completely human and Lady Font is perfect waifu material with a minor flaw of occasionally offing her political rivals.

Totality boring and completely filler.
