Story lacking

Needed more well thought out plot. There was not much to the story and it was predictable. I wished there was a little more drama or internal strife.

Great romance with empowerment

This is a great romance that will have you hooked. But it's more than that. It's a story of empowerment also. Sabrina is a former pop star. She works for her uncle's record company and takes his place as president while he is sick. She fits into the roll well, with the help from her new assistant Wade. Smoking hot assistant! Spark fly instantly between them. Sabrina feels still tied down to her manager Bo who she has had a thing with since he kissed her when she was a still a teen pop star. Wade shows Sabrina that she is worth more than just a call in the middle of the night to hook up. He shows her how amazing she is. She just has to believe it. Then Bo starts to notice and the sweet talking starts. Now she is conflicted. Does she stick to what she has been craving for years or does she take a chance on what's making her shine in front of her. This story totally pulls on the heart strings. Right away I wanted to yell LOSE BO! Then Wade entered and I was like HECK YES! I loved experiencing her going from a woman who had no confidence to a vibrant woman who was ready to take on the world. Love will do that to you. This a must read for all romance fans. Want female empowerment? You got it in this book! This narrator was the perfect voice for Sabrina. I felt like she really was Sabrina.

Okay read and audible

Any additional comments?

This was just an okay read. I really didn't care for the plot or the characters. Wade was a sweet boy, but even Wade couldn't make up for Beau and Sabrina's lack of good character.

The narrator's was not very good.
