Not a fan

Author is arrogant and judgmental about others throughout - makes lots of assumptions about people and has a huge ego.

Dripping with narcissism!!

Mr. Daniels may be intelligent and successful in his career of nursing, however clearly has forgotten that if everyone around you , no matter the venue is lazy, less intelligent , or seems to “find fault with you” —- you may want to look in the mirror and evaluate your perception. If the only common denominator is you —- your ego may need an adjustment

Very entertaining

As a med-surg/oncology nurse, I found this book to be very entertaining. Personally, I wouldn't touch the ED with a ten foot pole, but these accounts were quite interesting. I definitely sympathized with the author in many ways. It was really fun to listen to and if I were reading it physically, I would not be able to put the book down. It was especially funny when the narrator, along the later chapters, stated he "placed two 14 gram" IVs in the patient. LOL. Sad that it ended and surprised, or should I say not surprised, how many incompetent nurses there were out there. Good job David and I salute you for all your efforts as a RN!

Oh nurse review

This was a great book. I appreciated the honesty that came from the author. Being on audible was good but the narrator was not saying some of the medical terms correctly so it really took away from the book. Overall enjoyed listening to this book.

Maybe he's the problem

This started out as an interesting book but as you reach the midway point it starts getting painful. When he got fired the third time I started to wonder if he ever considered that maybe he was the problem.......he's cocky and arrogant and as a nurse myself some of the stories he tells throughout the book seem either highly exaggerated or honestly bordering on patient abuse/neglect as well as work place violence on his part. I wouldn't waist your time listening to this book obviously written by an egomaniac.
