About this listen

I’m stuck sharing a coffin with the world’s perkiest vampire. This vacation is going to suck.

After centuries of eternal existence, and still mourning the loss of my lover to vicious slayers, I needed a few days of peaceful solitude at the Hotel Draugr.

But thanks to a double-booking mishap, I’m forced to share my coffin with Kilroy, a freshly bitten vampire who loves his new afterlife as much as he loves hanging ten. My unexpected roommate is determined to show me how “totally awesome” being a vampire can be.

Doesn’t he know vampires don’t do sunshine of any kind?

Through epic snowball fights and midnight meetups at vampire speakeasies, the ice around my not-technically-beating heart begins to melt. And during days sharing our too-small coffin, one part of me has trouble staying dead.

Maybe this budding relationship has teeth…that is, if we can evade the slayers closing in on the hotel.

Only One Coffin is a grumpy/sunshine, forced proximity, paranormal MM romcom featuring a 300-year age gap, coffin cuddling, and a vampire bro who wears flip flops no matter how cold it is outside.

Short but sweet!

This was super cute and sweet. I do wish it was longer but I hope for a sequel at some point!

Quaint love story

What an interesting, quaint little romance story. I like the premise, and I really rooted for Magnus and Kilroy...although on a side note, every time the chapters from Kilroy began, I was reminded of Styx's Mr. Robto. It was a please listen and I enjoyed and rooted for the protagonists. Good story and narrator, Nick J. Russo. is the bomb!

Clever and sweet

I’ll probably listen to this ten times. It’s a funny take on vampires which manages to still be sincere and authentically emotional. That’s neat trick. Iceland was the perfect setting, and narration was on point.

Short but funny and spicy vampire romance

Oh how much do I wish if only this would have been longer? The story was really short but really enjoyable. A.J. knows how to write and keep it funny and spicy at the same time. And two vampires? That was really original and I enjoyed every single minute of it. When it comes to Nick J. Russo's audiobook, I loved how he managed to distinguish Magnus and Kilroy. And the spicy scenes with his moaning were oh so good and really full of lust. Good job! Both Nick and A.J.!
