Well written LitRPG

I liked the characters, plot and game mechanics. The only problem is that I feel like I have read this book before because there wasn’t a lot of new ideas brought to the table. Despite that, this was a really fun read. Solid narration.

MC is probably the dumbest over listened to

MC is probably the dumbest over listened to in a very long time. Honestly if this book wasn't so short and Pavi wasn't the narrator I would have returned it immediately. The main character is just super dumb, he did get a little bit better right towards the end but then the book ended and so eh... The premise of the story in the story itself isn't too bad I do like the premise it's just the way that the MC's going about doing stuff that's really dumb. I wouldn't recommend this to friends but if you just looking for something different and you will only give it a try go for it. Just to see if the story gets better I might try out the second book at some point but I also probably won't.

Great start

This book was fun, A little short and still it felt stretched out a bit. Not a lot happend but it still managed to get 7 hours of story. The narrator was amazing. The story was 4/5. One of my biggest complaints was the over explanation of things when the char looked to upgrade his skills. We don't need a 3 minute explanation of how it changes everytime. Some Litrpg fall into this trope of wanting 100% gamelike numbers and info in the book but its actually hard to do it without making it feel too filled with text in between story progression. This books does a decent job of it but my only other complaint are the amazing random quests he stumbles into. How they pay level 10 coin for a level 1 job. Also the money explanation was a bit all over the place and why was the guy given free room and board. Just felt a little too plot driven with these things is all

tighten up combat

overall this was a good listen, combat narration gets repetitive. it got better towards the end but fell back into it's repetitive nature. pavi did a great job he was the driving force as to why I picked this up coming off of Edens gate. going to continue this series as soon as I am done with dawn shard.

Great Start

An Excellent start to a new series. Very well done MC progression. I'm sure he will become OP in the books to come, but it's refreshing to not see it right away.
I can't wait until book 2 is released.

Excellent listen

This is a great new story/series in the Litrpg genre. In this genre it is hard to find “new” things because there is only so many ways to spin Litrpg/gamelit aspects. This story introduces these aspects and the world in a great way.

The MC is shown to us and in my opinion is a bit delusional about hisself. As the story progresses we see some inconsistencies with his actions but nothing story breaking. The aspects of his beliefs/mentality are just oddly jarring when they shift.

Pavi Proczko of course does a wonderful job narrating this story. He is one of those narrators who you can tell is giving it his all to bring the story to life for the listeners.

Overall this story is a solid 4-4.5 but I give it a 5 because of the way Amazon does authors on reviews.

Good Book

Solid Litrpg. If you like stats and prompt updates, this book is for you as it has an abundance of them. The reason why I didn't score it down a star is because it's a solid story. Do I recommend to Litrpg readers? Absolutely.

Basic story

Not good nothing too bad either it almost feels like this isn’t a full book but half of one, not overly powerful character biggest plus character motivation seems realistic down side no moments in this story do I really feel connected with MC.I give it this rating cause it has potential especially if author is willing to write longer works this was way too short for the amount of time spent building up to so little action

Otherworlder

I stumbled upon this gem while looking for other titles and decided to get it without even knowing what I was walking into.. I was pleasantly surprised that it was quite different from a lot of other titles that I've listened to on audible. The story of this book is very unique and I am very grateful for that. So Kudos to the author & narrator on this audible title for making this enjoyable to listen to and I look forward to more adventures in the next book.
