About this listen

A self-styled artist is getting away with murder in Death Valley. If all goes well, so will Nameless. In part two of the Nameless series, the relentless avenger is haunted by nightmares of the past and visions of what’s to come.

Palmer Oxenwald’s hunting ground is the Mojave wasteland. His victims are random tourists and hikers. His trophies are cherished photographs of the damage he’s done. His greatest threat is Nameless. Two men with one thing in common: memories of the dead. For a psychopath like Palmer, they’re a clear rush in black and white. For Nameless, they’re visions of violence buried and erased. But for how long?

From number one New York Times best-selling author Dean Koontz comes Photographing the Dead, part of Nameless, a riveting collection of short stories about a vigilante nomad, stripped of his memories and commissioned to kill. Follow him in each story, which can be listened to in a single sitting.

Good series

I have enjoyed the entire series so far (I just finished book 3) and can recommend it to anyone liking a good fictional story with a twist. Some violence but slight compared to many other books, just be advised if children are listening.

Time out for entrapment

Many thanks for a walk through the authors excellent prose. It was my first attempt at reading through audio book and he made it easy and interesting for me. Kudos to Dean Koontz. I will be reading more of his thoughts soon.

A Unique look at a unique for of serial killing

Superbly written novel. The scenery and landscape become characters as real as the killer/photographer him self.

Enjoy the novella. I think it's worth the money.

they just keep getting better!

I'm not ashamed to say im 28 and still usually prefer YA fiction so I haven't read more than a few pages of dean but THIS SERIES is absolutely amazing. The amount of word description and visualization packed into this 1hr30 min book feels like an entire movie masterpiece but better. nothing like wishing something was a movie but being so completely satisfied by just reading it again! awesome!

Less Riveting Then The 1st Nameless Story

The narrator was as good but I was not drawn into the story like I usually am by Dean Koontz. I am off to the 3rd Nameless story now. Maybe Photograhing the Dead was a one off.

I usually enjoy Dean Koontz novels so I am not thrown off by one less than riveting episode!
