This was perfect for the season. I loved listening to it. 2 people competing for the same job only for him to become her knight in shining armor when she has nowhere to stay for the night. Their chemistry was phenomenal and the one bed was hilarious. Definitely recommend for the pumpkin spice season

Cute little romance with some really nice spice. And some pumpkin spice thrown in.

This short story was just enough to wet the taste buds and I am looking forward to picking up more of this author's work.

Character and world building were effortlessly sprinkled into the writing and the plot was well paced.

While a short little romance, it also had me intrigued... Who is going to get the job???

I never found myself having to repeat a section because I was confused, and I really enjoyed this on a snowy Christmas Day of reading.

Need a quick romp? Get a pumpkin spice pour-over. Yum!

This was my first audiobook and I really enjoyed it! I didn’t realize how short the story was when I bought it so I was panicking towards the end when I only had 15 minutes left and I didn’t want the story to end!
That being said it was such a cute read! I love the characters and the actually plot was really good. Just wish I could have gotten to see how their relationship evolved more! I wanted like 5 more chapters 🤭
Overall, highly recommend to anyone who loves coffee, books and a little spice!

Elise Kennedy is my new favorite small town romance author. I get nothing but warm fuzzies after her books. This is the 2nd book I've read by her and now I want to go to Vermont.

Leo (whom I picture as Tom Hiddleston) is the quintessential hot professor who is also a gentleman at heart. There is nothing to dislike about him and I loved their chemistry. Becca is feisty, smart, and very easy to connect with as a reader.

One thing I like about Elise Kennedy's books is they are for realistic especially in the pacing of their spicy scenes. This book is not super spicy but still had plenty of hot make-out scenes and swoon worthy bedroom talk from Leo.

My rating system:
1 Star- DNF hated it
2 Stars - seriously considered DNFing it
3 Stars- Meh, it was ok.
4 Stars- I liked it! But I probably wouldn't read it again.
5 Stars- I loved it! Will definitely read again.
