Straight talk from really smart people

When you’re an athlete, the market for recovery products is insanely saturated. Bands, rollers, supplements, compression, heat, cold, electrical stimulation, massage...the list goes on and on.

So when it comes down to it, what actually matters?

This book gave me straight answers about how recovery affects my training and how my life affects my recovery. It even prioritizes the most important and effective strategies to implement.

I love the straight talk from scientists who know their stuff, rely on evidence, and aren’t selling you a damn thing other than their book.

Athletes who put time, energy and money into their training will find this book well worth their time and money we well.

Impactful information..

This has to be the best and most condensed information on recovery anywhere. It will have you re-examining your current recovery methods and (probably) focusing back on the tried and true methods that really work. Great job!

Very helpful

This book showed me a lot of things I was doing wrong but it also helped me fix them. If you work out at least one day a month you’ll most likely get something out of this book.

Recovery is a MUST

Overall, I thought that the audible book was very informative very concise and very deliberate in delivering proven practices from their perspective in one could easily be objective in taking information and applying it.
