The bestselling author explains why self-acceptance is counterculture, how virtues can turn into dangerous vices, and why healing is a nonlinear process that leads to gentleness. The most liberating message might be, “We don't need to focus on ‘fixing’ ourselves. As we focus on living from our heart center, anything that’s not in alignment with that light will fall away.”

These and other such experiences are not caused by our efforts. They are moments of grace, the gift dimension of life. The menstrual cycle is a vital and vitalizing system in the female body, and yet our understanding of and respect for this process is both limited and distorted. Few women really know about the physiology of their cycle, and many do not see it as an integral part of their health and well-being, let alone as a potential guide to emotional and spiritual literacy.

Enter Frank: a collective of eight beings from a distant planet who know what we’re going through because they’ve been there, too. Their civilization, once beset by many of the same challenges we face, has now advanced to a point where they can offer an informed and compassionate perspective on our trials, tribulations, and triumphs here on Earth. Speaking to Mike Dooley, one of today’s most celebrated New Thought leaders, with medium Tracy Farquhar serving as their channel, Frank answers our questions.

An Inspiring Book for Spiritual Seekers

With a clear and captivating voice, she presents her many reflections on being your true self. Cheryl’s personal stories, including her mystical experiences, augment her reflections and show how she discovered and learned to follow the guidance of her wise inner counselor. This book will encourage others to discover their own wise inner counselor to guide them through the many situations of their life’s journey. In following Cheryl’s inspiring example, we can learn to embrace life more fully by staying in touch with our core values and being our true selves. These reflections will appeal to anyone searching for spiritual guidance and transpersonal connection.

A gentle welcoming into connecting with oneself
This book is a beautiful read. It is gentle in its invitation without being too “out there” for beginners looking to enhance their spiritual side. So many parts of the book I felt were written directly for me. I highly recommend.

Ready to Read Again
Cheryl Lafferty Eckl’s book is like a great conversation with your wise friend. She shares stories, experiences, and resources to encourage you to listen deeply to that voice within that you know is there, but sometimes dismiss or rush past. She’s honed her relationship with her inner wise counselor and her book helps you believe you can, too. Right after I finished, I wanted to push “play” again to listen again for the golden threads woven throughout.
