Publisher's summary

Kicked out of her house because her father can no longer tolerate her constant delinquency, Roxy wanders the streets of New York, living in a fleabag hotel. Spotted by an "agent" for Madam Brittany, a sophisticated woman who runs an escort service, Roxy is taken into the Madam's "training program" where she is educated and set up with her own boutique apartment.

When Roxy takes her sister in after their parents' death, she doesn't expect it to be for long. Her plan is to get her sister to Paris where she can live with relatives. But then Roxy's own life becomes complicated when she falls in love with a wealthy young Frenchman while on vacation, and suddenly her immediate future seems uncertain....

Another Great Story by VC Andrews

Anybody who loves VC Andrews loved this story. The narrator is super. All of her voices were perfect for the characters. She spoke French beautifully and did the French accent perfectly. I’m hoping there’s a book three. I’ll have to look now 👍👍 I'm adding this.....I was so excited to listen to Book 3, HOWEVER, it said it's not or never was in audible. What????? is Andrews kidding? I am NOT happy about this at all!

Great part 2!

Where does Roxy's Story rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

It was pretty good!

What did you like best about this story?

I just like how they told the story behind Roxy, the first book almost made you hate her. Its good to see the story from another angle.

What does Amy Rubinate bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I like her but not as much as Rebekka, that I think read the other one. She kinda grows on you tho.

Who was the most memorable character of Roxy's Story and why?

The guy who discovered roxy.

Any additional comments?

Love V.C. Andrews!

Captivating Story

Story was good, Was slow at first...the narrator's voice really bothered me, she had a sort of California accent. I am from Cali, so I can say that without prejudice.... I really enjoyed the story line, just really didnt like the way it was represented by the narrator.

Uneventful

I am looking for a page turner book and this certainly was not one. Slow and uneventful

A tidal Pool...

Has more depth than this trash pile of words. There are very few books in this world where I have cared less about any of the characters in this coma-inducer. The entire plot was as spicy as tapwater. If Mr. Rogers and Sesame Street had a book club the only reason they wouldn't recommend this selection would be because it was below their readers intelligence level.
