The books in this set are wonderful and enjoyable to listen to. There is a great combination of murder, mystery, suspense and humor throughout the books. The narrator does a wonderful job bringing each character to life.

This Sabrina Carlson Anthology includes 5 mysteries: Chocolate Cupcakes with a Side of Murder, Apple Crumble with a Side of Murder, Chocolate Brownies with a Side of Murder, Candy Canes with a Side of Murder, and Ice Cream with a Side of Murder. Sabrina Carlson's husband is a police detective but she solves the cases. It's a great value for i credit. The story was nicely read by the narrator. This book was given to me for free at my request and I provided this voluntary review.

The thing I love more about Sabrina's books is that we get to see her grown up from a young single woman, troubled by her sister disappearance and about dating, to this mature married woman, with a daughter leaving home to follow in her dad's steps going to the police academy :)

All the stories in this bundle are related, and they are all fun, clean and entertaining but that's not news if you're following this author :P

And the narration is truly great.

My twenty-third read/listen from author Meredith Potts featuring amateur sleuth, Sabrina Carlson. A collection of 5 well-written & enjoyable cozy mysteries. I was given an Audible copy of this book & am voluntarily reviewing it. I was impressed and enjoyed the vocal variety & inflections of narrator Stephanie Quinn. I look forward to reading more in this series & from this author. (RIP Marley January 20, 2014 - July 24, 2018).

Meredith Potts continues Sabrina's life in Treasure Cove with more murder and intrigue. I've listened to many of the audiobooks in this series and enjoy them for the recurring characters and setting. The stories are fast-paced, so hold on for the ride.

Lili Dubuque had clean narration, but I had a hard time with her east coast accent because it doesn't jive with Sabrina being from the west coast.

This is a collection of short mysteries featuring Sabrina Carlson, who owns a coffee shop in Treasure Cove, California. She has a good manager for the shop, which is good, because these days she spends a lot of her time helping her husband, police detective David Carlson, investigate murders in the town of Treasure Cove. And it really runs in the family; their daughter, Jessica, has gone off to the police academy in San Francisco, determined to be a police detective herself.

I like Sabrina and David, as well as Jessica, Sabrina's parents, and her employees and friends. These are likable people, intelligent, and mostly practical. Sabrina doesn't go off and do dangerous things because No One Will Listen; this is no doubt helped by the fact that David does listen when she's found or noticed a fact that looks relevant. They also both have the ability to be wrong, without being wrong so often that you wonder how they can be successful at this.

Another nice feature, if you're looking for light entertainment and fun, is the open and unabashed enjoyment of coffee, brownies, chocolate...sweets. Aside from the coffee, they're really into sweets. Sabrina's coffee shop, The Daily Buzz, is of course the main source of coffee (including, shamelessly, eggnog lattes as the Christmas season approaches), but there's also a local bakery, a sandwich shop, and other food-oriented sources of joy in Treasure Cove.

They're not serious or challenging mysteries; they are a lot of fun. Recommended for light reading, or listening.

Murder and mystery seems to follow Sabrina and David all around Tresure Cove. But tbey always solve the cases, even the difficult ones.

All the books in this anthology were fantastic. Not only do Sabrina and David dealing with cases but with their daughter going to policy academy. Love this series. The narrator did an excellent job. She really has a fantastic voice and brings the characters to life. I was gifted this book in exchange for an honest review.
