Publisher's summary

What if you could go back and change your life? For Brennan Ramirez, that question is no longer hypothetical. Brennan is determined that the ultimate way to fix his family's life for the best is to go back and prevent the traumatic childhood abuse that haunts his wife to this day.

With the Machine, Brennan begins to experience true power, true control...or so he thinks. With every trip, every choice, Brennan realizes that his newfound control may be an illusion. With time made malleable, the question becomes, "What are you willing to sacrifice to change the past?"

Time Travel that Works?

Brennan invents a time machine while stuck at home trying to overcome his anxiety. He's a wonderful husband and father. He knows his wife had a very traumatic childhood and it bothers him that he can't help her nightmares. as he starts making trips back in time to change past tragedies, he begins to lose himself. When one change erases his daughter Abby, he goes back in time again. When he goes forward in time, he almost dies and does not remember anything that had happened in the past. He tries once more to go back in time and ends up somewhere in between. Was not expecting the ending but was surprised and happy at the conclusion.

Second Chances

Scars in Time is more than a book about time travel and changing the past. In my opinion, it's about learning from the past and growing and not letting the past define or keep you trapped within it. They say that "The road to hell was paved with good intentions," and it's true just because you believe that changing the past will make a better future it may not be true. I am in true awe of how the author teaches the lessons of morality, the good, and the bad. The book is well written and definitely worth reading/ listening to there is something in it for everyone. The storyline and characters are well developed and amazing, especially little Abby she won over my heart. I highly recommend this book to everyone who believes in second chances and God's mercy. I received this book for free upon my request. I am voluntarily leaving my honest and unbiased review here of my own free will.

Moral Dilemma

Loved the book. Loved the Abby character. An interesting look at time travel but, more importantly, the moral dilemma of righting wrongs and the implications. is becoming the thing you hate worth it? Loved this book.
