Publisher's summary

Signs of Life is book three in The Riverwood Series; it's Asha Hamilton's story. She's on the U.S Olympic Three-Day-Eventing team and it's five days before the opening ceremonies at the summer games in Atlanta. That's the worst day of her life, as she learns how bitterly she's been betrayed by the two people she loved and trusted most. The American team fails to medal and Asha finds herself in Vermont, ostracized and alone, struggling to re-build her life.

Wow...just wow

This book is well written and the narration is the same high quality. You can easily identify with both the characters and the plot. Being an equestrian myself, the happenings feel real and the motivation of the characters ring true.
Asha has survived a horrendous betrayal and suffered more than her share of losses. These have left scars which affect her life and possible relationships. I enjoyed listening to the story of how she and Tim managed to get beyond the tragedy to create a life together.
Good job to both author and narrator, well done, indeed.
