About this listen
You finally get home after a long, stressful day of work, counting down the seconds until you finally get to hug your bed.
But as soon as your head hits the pillow…and you get left alone with a swirling storm of thoughts and worries…you realize that another long night is in front of you.
An hour later, your mind is still racing, well-aware of the passing time and the unlikelihood of waking up well-rested....
It’s time to put an end to this once and for all.
All you need in order to get a great night’s sleep tonight is a story.
See, as fast as the human race is evolving, we still haven’t discovered a more efficient way to help our brains relax and achieve a calmer mental state than good ole storytelling.
A well-told story takes your mind off plans, worries, and recapitulations, providing a safety net beneath your brain, like the pillow under your skull.
That being said....
If you are having trouble falling asleep, this audiobook is for you!
It combines two magnificent bedtime stories with relaxing sounds of nature that will knock you out faster than any medication your doc has the authority to prescribe.
- It takes your mind off any thoughts that could be occupying your mind and relieve anxiety - the number one cause of insomnia.
- Reduces your stress levels
- Leaves you no other option but to relax and fall asleep within minutes
- And that’s just the tip of the iceberg.
Just a few minutes and you'll be on your way to the best night's sleep you've had in months!
Yes, it will feel silly at first - listening to a bedtime story like a seven-year-old....
But it will work like a charm.
So why put your rest off any longer?
Order the audiobook now and finally wake up fresh and recharged.

In 1963 Colin Fletcher became the first man to walk the length of Grand canyon, below the Rim. It began with a dream, when he and a friend detoured from a cross-country trip to take a hurried look at the great natural wonder. Standing on the Rim, surrounded by the profound and almost mystical silence, Fletcher knew that something had happened to the way he looked at things. He also knew that the Canyon, with its depths and distances, cliffs, buttes, and hanging terraces, beckoned to him, calling him on a journey that would challenge both his body and his mind.

Story
Many childhood summers, Mark Woods piled into a station wagon with his parents and two sisters and headed to America's national parks. Mark's most vivid childhood memories are set against a backdrop of mountains, woods, and fireflies in places like Redwood, Yosemite, and Grand Canyon national parks. On the eve of turning 50, and a little burned out, Mark decided to reconnect with the great outdoors. He'd spend a year visiting the national parks.

Story
In this landmark work on the Anasazi tribes of the Southwest, naturalist Craig Childs dives head-on into the mysteries of this vanished people. The various tribes that made up the Anasazi people converged on Chaco Canyon (New Mexico) during the 11th century to create a civilization hailed as "the Las Vegas of its day", a flourishing cultural center that attracted pilgrims from far and wide, and a vital crossroads of the prehistoric world. By the 13th century, however, Chaco's vibrant community had disappeared without a trace.

Story
What do you do when your world ends? At 28 years old, Krista Schlyer sold almost everything she owned and packed the rest of it in a station wagon bound for the American wild. Her two best friends joined her - one a grumpy, grieving introvert, the other a feisty dog - and together they sought out every national park, historic site, forest, and wilderness they could get to before their money ran out or their minds gave in.

Story
Originally published in 1994, this book was a fly-fishing phenomenon in the way Howell Raines' Fly Fishing Through the Mid-Life Crisis was. Taking his fishing hobby to near metaphysical levels, Ted Leeson tells about his passions: rivers, trout, and fly fishing. With wry humor and rare insight, he explores questions that engage most fishermen: What is it about rivers that draws us so irresistibly, and why does fly fishing seem such an aptly suited response?

Bright Rivers chronicles the angling passions and frustrations of one of fly-fishing's greatest men of letters. A city dweller trapped in the complexities of modern life, Nick Lyons has always found solace in his pilgrimages to great rivers. It is there that he fishes for trout, and in Bright Rivers, Lyons recounts the sometimes moving, sometimes hilarious experiences of his expeditions to the Delaware, Beaverkill, Madison, Big Hole, and Yellowstone rivers, sharing reminiscences of trout taken, released, and sometimes lost.

Story
Part of John Muir's appeal to modern audiences is that he not only explored the American West and wrote about its beauties but also fought for their preservation. His successes dot the landscape and are evident in all the natural features that bear his name: forests, lakes, trails, and glaciers. Here collected are some of Muir's finest wilderness essays, ranging in subject matter from Alaska to Yellowstone, from Oregon to the High Sierra.

Tom hoped to give Will a place to die with dignity amid the rustic beauty of the White Mountains of his New Hampshire home. But when Will bites him numerous times and acts out in violent displays, Tom realizes he is in for a challenge.

incredibly helpful!
I have a high stress job and have a terrible time getting asleep & staying asleep. I absolutely LOVE the narrator's voice! Quiet, calm, so soothing. I feel comforted and safe. Ducks, ponds, rainfall, wetlands. Consistent subdued energy throughout (I dont like waking up to it loud so this was perfect). I have many meditation and bedtime audios but for me this one was perfect. Very grateful!

Goon One Bedtime Stories for Adults.
My children struggle to rest when they visit since they don’t have their rooms at my home. Richard Daleki’s voice made bedtime wonderful, enabling them to both quickly fall asleep.
I loved hearing the stories and the wonderful lessons in the stories.

Relaxing Audible of Soothing Tales
I ordered this audible hoping it would be good for a guided relaxation I am working on. It is excellent! One full hour of lovely, uninterrupted Cabin in the Woods smooth sound. I first listened to it in the car to be sure it was what I needed - big mistake! Way too relaxing for driving along with. I am guessing it would be fabulous for falling asleep too.
