Such a lovely book

They used a narrator with a calming nice voice and the story is very nice for kids to listen to.

we love this book as a family

We listen together and the kids love it. It's very well done. We have twin 4 year olds and it's hard to get something they both like believe it or not.

Calming and cool!

I was taking a drive with my family and put this on for my 6 year old. He resisted at first as he wanted to listen to a podcast but I told him we’d listen together for a few minutes and then turn it off. After the first chapter he was totally into it and wanted to listen to the whole thing. After chapter 8 or so he actually wound up falling sleep, which was a great thing. Very calming experience for him.

Truly imaginative

I wanted this book for my kids, so I listened to it first. It even had a calming effect on myself.
Pleasant listen enhanced by the voice of the author herself and a with a bit of unobtrusive music.
This will definitely introduce some calm into the day of my children.

a perfect book for bedtime or stress time.

I am a parent of three children with high stress levels. At the end of the day they need something very calm and destressing. This is just the ticket. The narrator has a wonderful voice and the music in the background is perfectly calming. this book is worth it's price. your children will think so too.

Parents, get this for your kids!

What a charming rhyming introduction to meditation for children. I love the idea of people starting to meditate at a young age — a wonderful way to avoid a lot of unnecessary suffering. I wish I'd started to meditate as a child. With that in mind, I hope lots of parents purchase this recording and give their kids a powerful tool that will help them for the rest of their lives.

Cute, relaxing

The narrator is perfectly clear and soft spoken, no parts of the guided meditation are startling. First she describes the world you find yourself in when you step through a “door” and leaves several seconds for mental contemplation and exploration before continuing to the next. Each vision has its own variation and mentally stimulating images that will please just about any child’s interest. I (an adult) listened to it before sleep and found it cute, easy, and comfortable.

Really great concept and execution

I got this audiobook with my (almost) 4-year-old daughter in mind. I listened through it myself, and I really like it. Unfortunately, I think she's a little too young to have the attention span to really listen and imagine the scenarios being described. But I think it will be great when she's a little older, so I'm definitely going to hang onto it!

This book put me to sleep... in a good way

I enjoyed this book. The pace was smooth and relaxing. This is a good book to listen to, both for you and your kids right before bed.

The narration and sound quality are excellent.

This book was given to me for free at my request and I provided this voluntary review.
