Willow

After being left for dead I was given a fresh start. I could go anywhere in the world yet all I wanted was to stay where I was. Even though I knew I was safe. I always had a bag packed and ready just in case I needed to escape again. Like they say, old habits die hard. Being in the shadows is lonely, but lonely is safe. No one saw me. No one really got to know me. Except him.

Quinn

Being a cowboy is in my blood, just like my father, and his father before him. Except unlike my father the only thing that interested me were my horses. I was the quiet one, the one who stood in the back and watched things unfold. Until I found her fighting for her life. Something inside me shifted. I couldn’t stop it, I fell in love with her. Even though I knew, in the end, she would leave me.

Quinn

Oh, Quinn, I think I love you more now than I did before. You are exactly your father’s son.

Loved Quinn & Willow

I absolutely loved this book by Natasha Madison who did an amazing job with her storytelling with all the feels. Connor Crais and Jo Raylan narrated this story beautifully and brought forth all the different emotions the characters felt. I could not stop listening to this audiobook once I started and I couldn’t wait to see what happened next. Another hit in this series and looking forward to the next one.

Southern Heat

𝐒𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐧 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐭

From the very first page (maybe we should say chapter since this was an audiobook lol) I just wanted to dole out hugs left and right… and I’m not a hugger. To say this story made you want to hold your loved ones tighter would be an understatement, but I enjoyed it so much.

The protective nature Quinn had over Willow made me love him even more. He was ready to do whatever it took to make sure she was safe and comfortable. We constantly read about heroes who refuse to concede to the heroine time and time again, but the fact that he was willing to do this despite his own feelings. That’s why he’s an elite book boyfriend.

Can we also acknowledge that I read Book 6 of a series first?? I’m not the same as I once was😂😂 In all honesty I read all of the blurbs (I know, WHO AM I?!) and this one reached out and slapped me in the face!

Slow Burn Winner!

Southern Heat is another great addition to this series! I love that we are getting to revisit all of these characters now through their children.

This is the story of Quinn and Willow. This book picks up right where the last ended and we finally learn who else was in the cabin and story that brought her there. It is a heartbreaking and scary tale but through it all Quinn was there. He never let up and always made sure Willow was safe. He is definitely a swoon worthy character!

This quick read should be read in the series order.

Southern Heat

"The sunrise shows you that today is another day. It shows you that you have a reset."

Southern Heat is an emotional journey about healing and learning that love truly exists.

Willow was left for dead until Quinn found her fighting for her life. Determined to save and protect her, Quinn would do everything in his power to make Willow feel safe. Hopefully, it was enough to get her to stay instead of running again.

Southern Heat is the most intense and emotional book I have read in a while. Natasha Madison knows how to write a suspenseful story that also attacks your heartstrings with both sorrowful and joyful tears. My heart literally was breaking for Willow and everything that she went through in her life which made it very clear as to why she did not trust anyone other than herself. Quinn is the most selfless and caring person ever that you instantly fall in love with him. I am so excited for the next book in the series with the teaser/cliffhanger at the end of the book.

The Southern Series is a must-read and even though every book can technically be read as a standalone, you would be missing out if you did not read the whole series as it is so intense and consuming.

Audio … I really enjoyed listening to Connor Crais and Jo Raylan bring Quinn, Willow and their story to life. They did an amazing job of making the emotions so real.

Swoon

I truly have no words for this book! Quinn is unlike any other hero in that he is so drawn to Willow, despite not knowing her. Quinn finds Willow when he helps rescue Chelsea at the end of Southern Heart, except all we know is she is a woman on deaths door. The chemistry between Quinn and Willow is undeniable, but Willow is so broken emotionally. She doesn’t trust herself let alone Quinn. Quinn is determined to help her heal physically and emotionally. Quinn is truly the most swoony, alpha male with the biggest heart you could ever imagine. Natasha once again continues to pull back all the layers and secrets of the south and this book does not disappoint. Quinn 💗💗💗

Fantastic!!

Oh. My. Goodness. This is truly a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ read!! Beautifully broken and brilliantly told, Southern Heat blew me away! Moving ... magical ... and oh so meaningful. This story ... it's EVERYTHING! It's heartbreak and healing. It's the shattering of the soul and the strength to soar. A story of hope, heartbreak, heroism, and second chances at life and love, this book is smartly and soulfully written. This story takes you on one heck of an emotional rollercoaster ride of a journey with twists and turns galore that showcase the importance of trust, the importance of honesty, but most importantly, the importance of love. I wholeheartedly recommend reading or listening to this book. Connor Crais & Jo Raylan do a wonderful job portraying & bringing the characters to life. They are amazing narrators.

AMAZING!

This book is everything! The story line was so beyond fantastic. I have not read any other books in this series but this one for some reason caught my attention and I am not disappointed at all. I would definitely recommend this listen.

Connor's performance is stellar as always! I alone his voice. I have listed to Jo Raylan before and she can be a hit or miss however she hit this one spot on!
