I loved it!!💜
This was an excellent story. I enjoyed touring with the band!! It was funny and well written. The characters were so much fun and the practical jokes and comradely made me love them all the more. I had tears of joy as well as sadness. This book has it all.
The narration was absolutely perfect!! They really brought these characters to life.
I highly recommend this book!!

Slow Burn with substance!!
This is my first book by Lisa Becker and I loved it 🥰Marin and Brad truly complemented one another. Both wanted the other to reach their full potential and pursue their true goals and ambitions!! Marin was not only intelligent with an astounding work ethic but she was loyal, strong, compassionate and loving! Brad was just as intelligent, loyal and caring but also willing to right his wrongs and apologize when warranted! I really enjoyed the fact that their relationship developed as friends first and not just because he was a hot rockstar genius wanted by the masses😆 Their relationship had a little bit of everything, such as humor, deceit, loyalty, great friendships, sizzling chemistry and forgiveness! My only complaint is that the band manager didn’t get quite the come uppance he truly deserved!! Erin Mallon and Sebastian York’s performances were stellar as always! I can’t wait to listen to more from this author 👏🏾

I read Starfish last summer and loved it so I expected no less from the audio book, especially since it's narrated by Erin Mallon and Sebastion York. I love everything I've heard from them and all three of the books I've read by Lisa Becker so this was basically a guaranteed winner. I've raved about the next level of connection with a story when you experience it through audio and this novel was no exception.
Marin is a recent graduate who's interning for a prominent PR firm. She's eagerly anticipating an assignment in Seattle, but is instead shocked and disappointed to learn she'll be joining rock band, Kings Quarters, on their four-month-long summer tour. Tour buses, hotel life, and practical joking band members aren't exactly what she had in mind for her first foray into the world of PR. The band's guitarist Brad, however, is someone she'd like to get to know better -- except she knows she shouldn't feel that way since she's working for his band. Brad isn't your typical rock star hero which is a fun twist on his character. He's grown tired of the rock star life and would like to be free to pursue his passion for computer and video game programming -- hello sexy AND smart book boyfriend!
Listening to Brad and Marin discover their feelings for each other was such a delight. If you enjoy the conflict of a couple trying not to be a couple, you will love these two characters -- and even more so because of the stellar narration. When that tension is released it is sooooo good and definitely worth the wait! 🔥👏💓 If you're experiencing a global pandemic or anything, this audio book is an excellent escape (just sayin'...)

Perfect rockstar romance
So good and so cute! I loved this one! Great chemistry and a great story! I could use more of these two! These narrators had great chemistry and were perfect for this book!

Sleep like a Starfish
When Marin gets a new assignment she has no idea where that will take her. She was expecting something entirely different from the PR role she landed with Kings Quarters, a rock band that is traveling the country. As she gets to know the band though she comes to love her position as well as one of the band members even though she can't act on those feelings.
Brad enjoys playing in the band and the perks that come with that but when he first meets Marin he could all of a sudden care less about the groupies and after parties. He just wants to spend time with her. Now to convince Marin they can be together.
This is a fun and funny romance that takes time to get there. The characters are all likeable and I got wrapped up in the goings on of the group. Loved the side characters as well, Marin's bestie Grace is fun and loveable too. There is of course drama to deal with and family issues as well as underhanded moves by some. I really enjoyed listening to this book and highly recommend it.
Erin Mallon and Sebastian York are fantastic as always. Their timing is spot on and they brought out these characters. Loved listening to both of them from beginning to end.

New to me Author. loved this original Rocker roman
I listened to this through Audible Express. Lisa Becker is a new to me author.
I loved the blurb, it intrigued me. I'm not usually a fan of rock star romances. There have been exceptions. This is definitely one of them. The road trip with the band was fun.
I liked Brad and Marin.
This is a slow burn, which I love. Some of the early parts of the book had a lot of routine details that could have been cut to move the story forward. Great chemistry between Marin and Brad.
I love it when the H and h become friends. Brad is very smart and musically talented.
I really enjoyed Erin Mallon's and Sebastian York's narration. This might be my favorite SebYo narration to date!
I look forward to more books by this author.

Nerdy rockstar romance
I love nerds! I love rockstars! Brad is both a nerd and a rockstar! How could I not love this story? Marin and Brad's romance builds slowly on tour with his band bonding over Seinfield episodes. It's a nice slow burn friends to lovers romance with a splash of forbidden in there since Marin does PR for the band.
This was my first listen by this author but it won't be my last.
Erin Mallon and Sebastian York's performances were stellar as always.

Loved this!
Such a great story and loved the chemistry between Brad and Marin! I'm awful at writing reviews. Haha, i just loved this book! Very well written and entertaining. The narrating was great also!
