Publisher's summary
A dusty, hand-written journal kicks off a deadly expedition deep into the jungles of Southern Peru.
The journal leads the explorers to the site of the ruined village in the shadow of a mountain—a hollow mountain with a colossal ziggurat inside. It is a temple built to honor one of the Moche religion’s chief deities—a building-sized spider known as The Decapitator. Once revered for its strength and protection, this colossal Spider is now a caged monster driven insane by centuries of isolation. The massive beast stalks the group through the cavernous temple, ready to torture and slay the entire academic expedition.
The team soon find themselves in a traumatic and bloody fight for survival against a horrifying creature from legend. Can anyone survive The Spider God?

But nothing could have prepared him for this. In a woodland county in the Pacific Northwest, a sinister presence has awakened. A roadwork crew has disappeared without a trace; a truck is found run off the road; a lakefront property is mysteriously vacant, its roof damaged as though something large descended from high above; and an eerie quiet has overtaken the countryside.

When CIA Special Operations officer Major Jim Carter is sent to the town of Serene, Texas, he's still grieving for Agent Cathy Abbey, who was not only a fellow agent—but the woman he loved. And the woman he chose to shoot rather than let Al-Shabaab insurgents abduct her. A decision that haunts him. When Carter arrives in Serene, it's to discover that all one hundred and twenty-one citizens of the town have been murdered by insectoid creatures assumed to be extraterrestrials. Story
On the Yorke Peninsula of South Australia, a rural community, some distance from the state’s capital city, a local snake catcher and school teacher find a reptile they assume is just another feral species. However, this one is different. Its bite causes flesh to rot off the bones of their victim. Second, it grows fast. Way too fast. Third, there’s more than one. Lastly, it is not a mere snake. It is the immature form of something much larger, much more dangerous, and mythical, and it falls on this duo to try to stop these creatures before they reach maturity.

Story
The modern audience hasn't had a chance to truly appreciate the unknowing dread that readers would have felt when reading Bram Stoker's original 1897 manuscript. Most modern productions employ campiness or sound effects to try to bring back that gothic tension, but we've tried something different. By returning to Stoker's original storytelling structure - a series of letters and journal entries voiced by Jonathan Harker, Dr. Van Helsing, and other characters - with an all-star cast of narrators, we've sought to recapture its originally intended horror and power.

Story
Narrator Dan Stevens ( Downton Abbey) presents an uncanny performance of Mary Shelley's timeless gothic novel, an epic battle between man and monster at its greatest literary pitch. In trying to create life, the young student Victor Frankenstein unleashes forces beyond his control, setting into motion a long and tragic chain of events that brings Victor to the very brink of madness. How he tries to destroy his creation, as it destroys everything Victor loves, is a powerful story of love, friendship, scientific hubris, and horror.
