Publisher's summary

Ten hours…
That’s how much time we spent together.
How much time I got with the man whose bright eyes and sultry smile almost made me forget that I was sick.

Six hundred minutes…
That’s how long it took me to fall in love.

Thirty-six thousand seconds...
And then it was over. And all I wanted was more.
More seconds.
More minutes.
More hours.
More him.

Ten hours…
Such a small, insignificant amount of time.
Yet those ten hours changed everything.

Heartachingly Beautiful & Excruciatingly Poignant

How this book made me feel is almost impossible to put into words. Due to fear of spoilers I will try to keep things simple and concise. Finley and Abel's story was brutally stunning, heartachingly beautiful, intensely romantic and excruciatingly poignant. Try to be prepared because you will need a box of tissues and ample supplies of chocolate, ice cream and wine on hand to deal with the avalanche of feels headed your way. This book is going to fill your heart up until it busts, totally eviscerate you and leave you a crying, broken emotional wreck. So be prepared. Fortify yourself as much as you possibly can and make sure you have a recovery plan in place because you will absolutely need one. There is single narration on this book. I found the narrators voice pleasing and felt that the performance was very well done.

Seriously heartbreaking second chance romance

Oh my goodness...
*Warning...don't listen while driving or grocery shopping...

Finley and Abel's romance will definitely be one I do not forget any time soon. It was incredible, albeit heartbreaking...

I didn't realize going into this audiobook, what I was getting into. This was a fantastically written romance with a second chance. I don't want to ruin the story, so I will just say that I HIGHLY recommend listening to this! ALL of the characters, situations, and the entire storyline was FANTASTIC!. The narrator, Fiona, did a wonderful narration. (I usually am not a fan of single narrator for dual POV, but she did so well!). **heads up...this does not end in an HEA.

Anyway...grab the box of tissue, snuggle up somewhere comfy and listen to this! 5 stars!

Outstanding, Love it

Ten Hours by Melissa Toppen, the audiobook narrated by Fiona, is book one in the Ten Hours Duet.
Finley is a young woman whom's time is running out.
Abel, the 25 year old , finds her at just the perfect moment, but their time is cut short.
Ten Hours is an emotional read, be prepared and hace tissues at hand. The story had me in nots, put me through the wringer, sucked me in , whirled me around and then spit me out. And I enjoyed every minute of it. The writing is spectacular, the storyline unique with outstanding characters. A fantastic read, 5 stars.

5 star writing...but the ending was heartbreaking

This is the first book I've read by Melissa Toppen, but it won't be my last. This book had me in tears, not wanting to put it down. I was so drawn into the story, my emotions were all over the place. What a perfect romance for Abel and Finley...almost. There is not a HEA of this book. It's the only reason I took a star off my rating. I so hope the story continues for Abel. And I hope we get more for Claire as well. Gosh. This story will stick with me for a long time.

Editing to add that I have now listened to the audiobook. It's still one of my favorite non HEA for the couple books. Finley got her dream...to be loved. I am looking forward to listening to Abel's story next. I certainly enjoyed it when reading it! I give a five star this time because I was prepared for the ending. Melissa Toppen wrote this duet beautifully. The highest rating is deserved.

Fiona (No last name listed) was a good narrator. It was more like reading the book vs preforming the book. But she read with heart. Surprisingly, I enjoyed the narration. I usually prefer more of a performance from the narrators. But if one can't do different voices, this is what we need.
