Very informative

This audiobook was very informative and answered a bunch of questions for me. The advice is practical and easy to apply, which is something I’ve struggled to find in other ADHD resources. As someone with ADHD, I feel like I have real tools to manage my emotions and energy - Awareness is the key for me. I really appreciated this book and glad I took the time to listen.

A very compassionate look at ADHD

What I appreciated most is that this book respects the ADHD brain instead of trying to force it into a neurotypical mold. There was a ton of credible research that supported the book. The advice is tailored and compassionate and extremely informative. I’ll definitely be revisiting it often.

More Focus and Energy

I was really pleased with this audiobook! It provided insight I didn’t even know I needed. The sections on fatigue and overstimulation explained so much about my day-to-day struggles. But more than that, it gave some very practical advice on how to address that. I will be listening to this one again. A definite great resource!

Straightforward and Practical Advice

I didn't realize that I struggled with ADHD until my 40's, so I am always looking for good resources and aids. I really appreciated how straightforward and down-to-earth this audiobook is. Perfectionism and ADHD

It was interesting to learn that perfectionism and ADHD are so closely connected. My husband has ADHD, I am sure, so I listened to this book to learn more about it. I never realized how much perfectionism was impacting my life until I listened to this. The way the author broke it down made it easier to recognize and begin letting go of unrealistic expectations. It gave me alot of insight in how I can better support my hubby. This was a great listen!
