This book is packed with much info!

Narrator was excellent ... It is packed with so much great information that I ordered the book in hard cover so I could go back again and take notes. I am planning on making big changes based on information in this book. Thank you Dr. Shanahan.

Worked for me - down 35 pounds

Best and most well presented and explained book on this topic that I have read. I highly recommend and this one is better than her first book which I have also read.

She does it again!

I wish every person on the planet would listen to just a few minutes of what Dr Cate has to say. The principles she believes in speak truth…with no agenda other than to give people the chance to know how things actually work. No hype, nothing for show. Deep Nutrition is my favorite book of all time. This book is just as good and gives some new insights that keep you up to date. Great thing is she doesn’t have to correct anything she’s previously taught. It’s all Rock solid. Bravo Dr. Cate! I’m in your camp.

the reasoning why to eat healthy

I loved the book. it was very informative. I have followed a paleo diet for about 7 years but have kinda fallen off the bandwagon over this last year. This book had inspired me back to where I need to be with a little more understanding the reasoning why. I'm going to tell all my loved ones about it.

Very informative!

This is a long book but it is so full of useful information that it is worth the time. There are many tips and tricks about what is wrong with our current American diet. Even though I primarily eat vegetarian, I learned a lot about human’s dietary history and what kind of diet promotes our best health. I highly recommend this book if you want more information about how to eat properly.

Life changing in the most positive way

Of the thousands of books I’ve read several hundred on nutrition psychology history human nature this was the most important book I’ve ever read it’s not even close I’ve lost 70 pounds actually 74 pounds in four months I’ve got energy and I’m pain-free.

Change my life

I read this book in March and started implementing the strategies. I’ve always been very healthy what prompted it was a one point above normal on my glucose levels. To some this may not seem like a big deal. I was retested in June and I was back to my normal values. Interestingly my triglycerides cut in half. Very easy to give up toils unless you go out to dinner. Sugars was not a huge problem for me and I really not missed. Food taste a lot better than I did before. Very happy with the results and plan on keeping us up.

Great book for fixing your metabolism

The best book to fix your metabolic health as well as lose weight if you want. This book and her first book Deep nutrition have changed my health and my family's. Now I have more energy and less body fat and more muscles and even I got sick rarely or never after following Dr cate's advices in both deep nutrition and this book for about 5 months. But you will feel the change even in the first week especially in your energy
