About this listen

A child captured. A battle lost. A desperate fight for survival.

Still reeling from their defeat, Soren and his allies are beaten back but not defeated. With their sights set on a new target—one of ultimate importance to the enemy—the fight for the fate of the galaxy continues.

The stakes are high. The cost, higher. And even if they emerge victorious, survival is anything but assured.

Basic stuff like a 9th grader

The story itself is good. There are no twist. There is little explanation of the characters. Everyone is one sided. What you see is what you get. The writing is poor. Every sentence contain an adjective I needed sometimes I wonder if AI wrote some of this book. The only reason I’m continuing is because the story is somewhat interesting. After you listen to one or two books, do you wanna at least finish it but I will say this. It does feel like it’s written by a ninth grader someone who doesn’t understand much in the way of romance or relationships. Can you be serious lead of the story spends 20 days on the shuttle alone with a essentially a duplicate of his wife. Eat all they can say about it is or the writer says about it is he’s beginning to respect her more. This is basically ridiculous. This is a terrible story and yet I wanna listen to it because I’ve gotten so far into it, I have to finish it. The bottom line is this if you wanna listen to a story written by someone who has the mentality of a ninth grader without the relationship component anywhere in the man’s mind then go ahead. Also this keep this in mind as well. I’ve listened to plenty of stories about perfect military people. People that are perfect in every way this is one of those every officer response perfectly every issue that they face is responded to in a perfect way by every officer by everyone in the story I hope the author listens. Another issue is this. I’ve listened to the first four books, some chapters seem to forget what happened. There’s a clone? Oh no it’s happened before any of this book acts like it’s the first time this happened. It’s annoying what I’m saying to the author is this. Edit your book better. This is very clearly a book that you wrote and never had anyone look at it. there is no editing whatsoever because people would bring this to you and you would fix it. I’m gonna buy the last book in the series just because I wanna see how it ends but shame on you. You pop out these books 7 or eight a year, which is ridiculous but it’s because you just write them and send them off. You don’t care about the quality do better pal.
