Why is this even a separate book?
I wish I had realized that this book was under an hour long before I purchased it. It's really just an appendix for the authors other book, "For the Win," which is about gamification. Indeed, a substantial portion of the content here is just urging the listener to buy "For the Win" in order to get the real info. This is essentially just a glossary of some specific gamification techniques. It would be better as an appendix in the other book, or as a PDF a few pages long from their website.

content is okay but narrator was a boring
I listened to this audible after listening to actionable gamification by Yu Kai chou. this audible was a lot harder and dryer to listen to especially after Chou's book was very entertaining and engaging. Yu Kai's audible was more like an actual engaging conversation. this audio book was only 5 chapters. not enough info like they didn't even try

a tool kit w/o any tools?
Maybe this would be interesting to people over 60 that have no idea about the different doping aspects of video games, but I can't believe I got thru this whole book & left w/o any idea how to implement points, badges, skins, etc.

This is a short book and I would say, probably 20% was just referencing their book. I didn’t learn anything new, so despite the price I wish I hadn’t bought the book.
